ball joint,strut,te rod damage or wear

gday guys,

what are the effects of worn or damaged ball joints on the steering?? what are the effects or damaged tie rods or struts on steering?? what other suspension parts could cause bad steering?? car is a 2003 corolla hatchback.

If you have worn ball joints or tie rod ends the car will steer badly all over the road and with road surface changes it will wander badly plus when you change gears it will feel like it wants to change lanes. the car in general no matter what the speed will wander over the road you will be constantly adjusting the wheel to keep it in a straight line.
