Need help on changing fog light globes

Recommended Posts

After numerous attempts of pulling out the fog light globes i was un-successful.

Can somebody guide me on how to pull out the globe?

I cant seem to losen it.. seems like the globes are stuck.

Thankyou in advice!

That's odd, because if you can twist it, you have moved the small rubber ring/seal so it shouldn't be stuck anymore.

Basically they need to twist, and then once the two plastic protruding bits on the bulb are aligned with the two cut-outs/slots on the light housing it should pull straight out...

I know this may sound silly but have you tried twisting it back and forth a few times? Also once you have twisted it twist, it slightly back and then try to pull it out, sometimes the two plastic bits dont quite line up with the groves on a full twist.

yeah i've twisted it back and forth, i can twist it about 1-2 cm than it'll lock up again .. but i cant pull out the globe.. this is even harder than changing the headlight globes! :(
