Ive heard that certain vehicles with MAF sensors are not suppose to use oil on their air filters (i.e. WRX). It apparently builds up on the maf and stuffs up the readings. Now I'm cleaning my K&N pod filter today, so I would like to know if I should oil i should oil it or not.

Also I have a CES with a K&N POD, but I would like to know if the other intakes (TRD, AEM, Injen) come with an oiled filter or not.

yes you should oil it, but lightly. The dirty MAF sensors come from over oiling and and excess oil boing sucked through the filter. If you lightly oil the filter, the oil will hold to the filter membrane better.

Ive also got a K&N Panel filter (pre-oiled) changed it on my 40000km service...

Havent done anything to it since, coming up to 60,000km. Should i oil it clean it or do something??

Eventually it will build up on the MAF sensor, but lightly oiling it is the key to keeping your MAF sensor relatively clean. I change my filter every 10k. Its all personal preference, but i would definitely clean it after clocking up 20000km.

Cheers

P.S. Do a google, plently of people write up on how to oil K&N filters.

Oil will stop the water from getting through as oil and water dont mix

Now to get me an K&N filter

The oil will not stop the water at all, the oil is used to trap finer particles that the filter element itself is incapable of doing.

Pretty much no difference whatsoever, the suction pressure present is adequate enough to pull water in. But that would only occur if say you had a CAI and drove through a river of water resulting in hydrolock. Shouldn't need to worry too much about that too much if you live in metro areas.

Cheers
