Another Option for FI

Look what i found!

its a really small super charger, and it apparantly uses an internal plantary gear system to up the internal rpm of the turbine, so this would equate to a lower sap on the bhp from the engine side.

Supercharger

Supercharged Civic

if they managed to get it going good on that civic R, i'm sure the 2zz can put it to good use even with its higher revs.

and before the noobs jump in about how much better a turbo would be over a supercharger, just bear in mind that to each their own. Superchargers give a different drivering experience to a turbo, and they're pros and cons for both.

The Rotrex has already been done on a celica in the UK, the install looked pretty easy, the custom bracket was the hardest part.

So the Rortex can be fitted to the 2ZZ with a custom made bracket and CAI???

I think its quite new technology.......no one has really taken that route. Try www.spyderchat.com, one guy got a whole setup running within a month. Search for rotrex.

Cheers

P.S. Need to do more reading, i was looking at modding the 1zz with the 1.93L kit, got quoted 2K for machining only!!...but maybe the rotrex is a better option :D
