Just wanted to get a feel for who would be interest in getting AEM CAI.

I read on one of the post that a supplier can do it for $245 for 1.

So hoping if we get 5 or more it would be less than that.

So who's keen???

Lets just say if you prepared to pay low $300 well count you in if you like.

I had 1 quote that is fairly competitive.

Keep in mind fluctuation in foreign exchange but once I get a few more quotes back then I'll post a better estimate.

I've got one in my car and it's was off a 1zz-fe and it still fit mine.

I suggest trying out Asia options for dealers instead of looking at the US. I believe that you can get these from Singapore for a pretty good price. I paid AUD$200 for a 2nd hand one so I believe that a brand new one from there shouldn't be much more expensive.

Another option is a group buy for the cosmo racing CAIs

They have them to fit perfect for 1zz and 2zz pre and post facelift

Contacted Cosmo racing already have you got their shipping price???From memory their shipping price is very expensive.

E-Gene thank you for the advise I have contacted Singapore and Malaysian Suppliers

The catch is customs duty and GST. My dilema is is it more expensive to pay customs and gst or is it more expensive to get the supplier to break the shippment up so each parcel falls under $AUD 1000 threadshold.

Hopefully our Asian neighbours can supply the parts cheaper but as I said earlier I have one price that is pretty good.

I wonder what CES would do in a group buy like this???

Not much I think they took 10% off for the CES exaust group buy. If they take 10% off $442 for the intake its around $396 plus postage.

lets please stick to AEM people gazoom has alreday gone to the trouble of contacting all these suppliers, AEM is tried and proven as he said and id rather spend a little more money on a reputable product than something that is either cheap or convienant.

Well, i rather pay for a good product then just pay for the brand, if the performance gains are the same or similar between the AEM and the Cosmo and price difference is more then $100au i rather go for the Cosmo.

How bout we take a look and see what the 9th gen guys are doing first, and if they get a good price is it possible for us to join their group guy??? maybe this will make the final price even cheaper :P

Cheers
