Silent Tyres

Im looking to get a new set of tyres for my rolla which is running on 215/40/17 Federal Super Steel tyres.

They are el'cheapo tyres and starting to wear down...boom/noise levels increasing.

What you all recommend to be the most quietest tyres you have used?

Will be changing up to 215/45/17s for comfort too.

Will be upgrading to more expensive brands now....no more el'cheapo.

Thanks

Ive used everything from Kumhos 712s to yoko pilots, depends on ur budjet..(this might be lil biased coz im sponsored by these dudes) A good valued tyre company is the Toyo ranging from the Proxes to the T1R,No excessive road noise,Grip beautifully in the wet & dry,Dont get me wrong the pilots were great BUT @ two hundred plus a tyre, its pricey

Racing motorkhanas,I feel the tyre differences do matter..but it all matters on your budjet as well

good luck

Thanks fellas.

THe MAXXIS MA-Z1s have been mentioned to me to be silent tyres quite a few times already...sounds like a goer....price is good too

BUt ive also heard that non-directional patterns will generally be more quieter in the long run that directional treads?

does this sound right?

Ive found the directionals are less noisier to its other half,Maybe it ddepneds on rubber compound too,Maxxis my understanding are tourer driving tyre thats probably why its a lil quieter ,thats why its endorsed by BMW...how much??
