another kinda cooling panel from c-one

havent seen this mentioned on here b4...

エンジンの熱気をシャットアウトするプロテクター。

ヒートプロテクターはエンジン周辺の熱気を抑え、クールエアーをエアクリーナーから吸入します。吸気温度の上昇防止にも貢献し、スポーツ走行から街乗りまで、エンジンポテンシャルを引き出します。

in other words "The heat protector holds down the ardor around the engine, sucks the cool air from. It contributes to also the prevention of rise of intake air temperature, pulls out engine potential from sport travelling to the town riding."

probebly just another bit of rice from c-one.. but anyone got one? any real benefits or is it just rice?

kinda hard for me 2 read japanese... but theres 2 figures on the c-one website.. either 9500 jap yen

with tax its 9975.

isn't the radiator shrouded where that extra panel goes?

It wouldn't be getting any airflow at all. It would be blocking the cool air that comes around the radiator/headlight from attempting to reduce the temperature of the plenum.

Yes, the radiator is shrouded.

I think it's intended use is to block some engine heat from the stock intake snorkle But I don't think it's placement is really effective. The coolant pipe would be radiating heat on it's own, so it's kinda useless where it is :blink:

if you want to keep your throttle body cool just do the coolant bypass mod that kept my cai cold all the time in real hot stand still traffic too

and how would that prevent the radiant heat from the radiator hose that goes right passed the air intake pipe and throttle body ;)

that's what this panel does... :rolleyes:

never knew about this part until now.

and i will get one! i really like c-one parts i already have the c-one cooling panel and this will be a good addition to the engine dress up even though performance wise the benefit may be small. it does not look hard to make but it should not be too expensive to get the real part.
