:idea: just wondering if anyone out there knows if the headlights for the us spec toyota matrix would fit the early zze corollas they made progector headlamps for the matrix i was interesed to see if they were close enough a match probably not but it would kick **** if they did ;)

point taken lol! why would people waste time making progector headlights for a crud bucket like the holden astra but not for the rolla

lol... maybe the market isnt big enug to justify for projectors for rollas (aus spec)..... they are heaps of astras around the world :)

yeah way too many lol! im sure whoever is wasting their time with astras will come to their senses and make more stuff for decent cars

      Putting 15" or 16" on will only make it slower, won't have the power to pull higher gearing, trust me I know, my cousin has one. He ended up putting a 4y/ 5speed in it

      I have since found when it happened again on steep incline, lift foot on accelarater pedal, drops a gear and then back on the gas an no issue as is out of the rev range approx 2200 where it happens. (This is all done in a second so not a drama at all now for me when it happens)

      You're not wrong there Ash, greedy retailers trying to make a dollar. I say let them all bleed & see how they like it, surely they must be hurting by now. I have rarely walked into either of the big 3 auto stores, essentially purchased nothing all year. Have plenty stock to keep going, anticipating big Black Friday sales. I have also been considering swapping out my Aurion for something much taller (cos lower back issues) & super efficient but I just can't bring myself to flushing all that $$ for the sake of it, especially given the Aurion is still like a new car. Also concerned about leaving the very good safety of a car manufactured by Toyota for something a little unknown despite also being Japanese made. Then there's the ever changing landscape in the middle east which is excuse enough to instill fear into everyone from producers to stockbrokers to retailers and of course those that live there. Interesting times ahead for sure.

      Advice Please

      Welcome to the forum John, Depending on where you are your best option may be to get your existing alternator checked first to be totally sure that is the issue.The next if unable to find one suitable even on the aftermarket you may have to have that one rebuilt ..That may be your only option..I am sure somewhere there is one suitable but finding it is always the issue. I would get good advice from an AUTO ELECTRICIAN as they will have the inside knowledge of any sources that may able able to help you mate. KAA

      Fortuners Transmission

      Hi I have a 2022 Toyota Fortuner with 20500 Klms, the Transmission Jolts/Surges heaverly when shigting from park, through Reverse and into Drive. I am wondering if any one else is experiencin this issue?
