Going off-topic though, I thought the Corolla's with the black mesh-like grille were the face-lift ones.. Does that make mine a face-lift as well?

Yeah its facelift, the sedan kept the old style front bumper, mine was just at the start of the facelift series

Yeah the new sedans come with the old front headlight shape, a chrome-ish grille and pretty much the same front bumper with a few minor differences (mainly the foglight covers). The new hatches have the true facelift, with the teardrop headlights and the grille that is integrated into the bumper as one peice.

Well a few things have been added, Grille and eyelids (need repainting)

Sorry about hte piic, its raining, go figure hasnt rained for weeks so i wash my car and wake up the next morning to water everywhere.

I think i have a way to break the drought, let me wash my car everyday.....

along with your debadging you can also remove the mudflaps to get the car smoother.

nice red ascent badge! i got one in blue but have not got around to putting it on anywhere mainly because i am not that fond of common badges. i wonder where the red ascent comes from. what makes the others blue?

Red = ascent sport if i am not mistaken.

love the grill and all but im not a fan with the ascent badge you got on it i reckon take it off and put like a TTR badge or something besides a Ascent sorry dude...

or even better no badge at all...

get some low profile tyres and some white walls to go with it...
