  3. Turn your bluetooth to on, on your phone. Press the green talk button on the HU, turn the dial till it reads 'BLUETOOTH'. Go back to your phone/bluetooth settings, to 'Add device', it should search and find it under 'Handsfree'. Add it or connect with the standard code of '1234', the bluetooth reception bars should come up on the HU left hand side screen. Receiving calls will ring out and stop music playing, press green talk button to answer and talk. Or you can make a call and just talk through the cars handsfree system. You can adjust how loud the other person is by turning the volume dial up and down, i have mine on 9. Bobs your uncle.
  4. Now shifting at 5.5-6.2K RPM

  5. It doesnt. Maybe it was my vigorous 'aggressive' running in of it, so the ECU learns how it should drive. At constant 5.5k+rpm
  6. Saw a Black Rukus today with aftermarket rims that arent worth mentioning. If i had a Rukus and used it as a cruiser/daily only, damn.. so many ideas i'd throw on it. 19"s, coils, exhaust, decked out audio, tint, 6k HIDs, interior lighting.. B)
  7. Nah thats not what im getting dude. Im engaged already in gear and it made a sound while depressing clutch slowly. Try putting it in 3rd first then reverse, i find that helps.
  8. Clutch drama seems okay for now. Too much noise during the day so cant really hear it properly. See how it goes tonight
  9. hope everything works out well desmond. thats the worst. its like me going to fun day at winton, with misaligned wobbly wheels.. that could of ended much much worse.
  10. the sound on my clutch goes squeak squeak squeak.. squeak squeak squeak

      Tash

I had the same problem - turned out to be a really bad build-up of dirt/grime in the clutch. Was cleaned under warranty.

  11. oh man.. that doesnt sound good at all! GG your TRD pads
  12. Small drama. After headers install, reset my ecu so it can relearn everything again. Been pushing it today a fair bit and just noticed this afternoon and when i pulled into my driveway that i have a small rattling noise/very slight clanking and even then turns into whincing. It doesnt occur when i rev but actually when i depress the clutch to reverse or drive forward. WTF?????? Stressing me out hardcore now! I dont know what it is, pretty sure we've installed everything correctly and didnt even touch the clutch side of things. I was giving it a bit of a squirt here and there today but i've pushed it harder on track. I dont know what the problem is??!? Did i push it too hard today? F##K!!! I'll let it settle and see how things go tomorrow. Doesnt sound very healthy though, surely i wouldnt be having clutch problems now? Even with the occasional aggressive driving? Its sitting just under 37k on the clock. :( :(
  13. Im usually up for anything on Friday nights. And no, there isnt really hoons there at the carwash, you respect others and others shall respect you
  14. hrmm.. too much Redbull? Youtube today.. Bollywood tomorrow! :P
  15. WeaponR headers in! Vinh didnt want his so i got them off him. :D Thanks vinh and his brother quang again for using his driveway/garage and tools and labour to get the job done. Installation was easy enough, O2 sensor was a b!tch to get out. Headers were a direct fit. Comparison of new and stock is quite different. New header pipes are slightly larger and upon inspection of inside are much less restrictive. Welds on headers look top notch and build is in stainless steel compared to mild steel on stock one. Went for test drive and the drive on the way home, still cant feel the difference yet. Maybe placebo effect. Im sure the exhaust flow is much more less restrictive now and there is some slight gains there. I think i feel like theres mid-range gain and torque, but again still too new. Heres a few snaps. Will be getting dyno soon, see what my zre puts out. Lol
  16. WeaponR Headers in!

  17. Heres a few simple things; Check tyre pressures every few weeks Check engine oil (and other fluids) on a regular basis Drive it like a grandma
  18. Fahhh.. what an aggressive street-styled wagon!! Well done!
  19. +1 Cant wait for the day i give the chrome lip style rim look the flick
  20. +2 billion if anything.. johnnieboi is there at ballarat rd carwash friday nights anyway. Well mostly, and i normally wash once a week. Around 8pm onwards.. lol
  21. +1 @ john. I had plastic/metal hub rings for aftermarket rims to go on my 08' ZRE. And when i put my stock wheels back on, forgot to take them off.. almost resulting in a game over for me while on the road. Check if you need hub rings for the rim to sit on. And remember to take them off if you put your stockies back on.
  22. Might just need re-gassing of refridgerant R134 for car/air conditioning. Local mechanics do it if you want to trust them. But then again, might be a leaking/faulty compressor and to get that replaced then filled with refridgerant gas could cost like 700 or more. Even if you regas it for the summertime period and try find out the fault or leak after, its something.. and something is better than nothing. (for summer anyway)
  23. You might have scrubbing issues with 8.5 width. unless your offset is like +45. More phatter offset like +35 with 8.5width might be a problem. Just check to be sure before you invest in 2-3k rims/tyres combo.
