G'day Waycool, Welcome to the forum!! Good choice to move away from the commie and into something smaller. The diff's between the Stivo compared to the Levin's and accents is pretty large IMO. Stivo has Leather, Six Speed, and the 2ZZ. Its a kick ar#e motor, same used in the Lotus 111R/Celica. It will drag of a 6cyl commie no worries (stock), and wind out to over 220kmh. and the thing sounds like an animal. You could mod a 1ZZ to perform as well as the stivo, but then mod the 2ZZ and see what happens. For 25K you will getinto a used Stivo pretty easily, and I think its excellent value for money. I used to drive falcons and thought they were tuff as, till i got my Stivo. Now I wouldnt buy one unless it was an F6. Basically, yeah the stivo is what its cracked up to be and more :D Do it!

H&T is great fun!!, I started doing it about 2 months ago after researching on the net. Took a while to get the hang of it but now its second nature. I just place my right foot half on the brake and roll it on the gas pedal to blip (with shoes on, with shoes off I have to use my heel and bend my ankle). a blip of about 1000rpm while letting the clutch out is pretty on the mark. makes you feel like a race car driver, Now i have to get a roll cage and enter in Targa Tasmania. :D

Hmmm.... Turbo? Supercharged? Forged internals? LSD? That'd be cool

Toyota's got 2.5 years to bring out a new kick Ar#e Corolla (lease runs out)... otherwise it looks like im buying elsewhere. (heaps of time left, come on) but i wouldnt buy that Mazda. XR5 would be cool.
