  3. who the hell eats red rooster? i wouldnt feed that to a dieing dog ;) nasty
  4. i kick the tyres, to check tyre pressure. done..... drive away
  5. spotted white preface stivo turing onto liverpools rd off boundary lane.. bout midday, dumped on stockies.
  6. to bad your not in sydney, id respray it for your you for a very reasonable price, i like bringing these old girls back to life.
  7. decent effort there with the painting, one thing though you said u painted it with out washing it or polishing it first? one problem youll run into is that once you try to polish it back, if youve painted over dirty paint youll always get a line through it, where the dirt is trapped under the paint layers. in regards to washing it depending on how thick and how many layers youve applyed i would give it 2-3days
  8. installed today trd short shifter, not a bad kit. not as aggressive as some short shifters ive used, didnt like the trd shift knob it came with, to small and annoying design that digs into your hand (small ball type) i foolishly sold my momo carbon combat knob to my mate that droped by after i had installed it....... regret it now
  9. :( :( lame car looks sweet, though TRDYUS still holds number one spot when it comes to pre-facelift, i think your car still needs some thing to really make stand out from the pack.
  10. ill put my self down as a maybe, hope i can make it should be a good drive.
  11. maybe check the driver side behind the power mirror switches and coin holder because i know the side indicator relay is there There are no relays in the brake circuit. Wiring is basically: Battery -->Fuses --> Brake light Switch -->junction blocks. From here it goes to ABS, Engine ECU and the rear lights. Look at any Toyota circuit diagram for the brake circuit they are all pretty much the same except the wiring colours may be slightly different. ps did you check BOTH fuse boxes? yeah i know having a relay for the brake lights wouldnt make sense, ive since fixed the problem by changing the fuse for the brake lights under the glove box, seems i was looking in the wrong area :o :o :o jdm taillights FTW
  12. lol seriouslly i didnt know he was behind us.............. :P few things installed today, momo combat evo gear knob, toyota sport pedals (thx angelo), zze slimline weather sheilds (thx mou55a) this few mods might be the kick start i needed to do some interior mods as its very stock yeah i'm focusing on interior mods too. i find that putting a lace-up leather steering wheel cover and some chrome in the door handles makes a big difference. and get a facelift levin armest lid. i was thinking of getting some wrx seats and retriming them in black leather, and maybe a zre steering wheel (not sure if it will fit)
  13. good to know then ;) i was about to bin it.
  14. i have a cusco front stut bar installed on my car, and today while working on it i noticed it had a massive bend in it. not sure if this is normal and this is the way they come.. but i doubt it, if any members have recantlly installed a cusco front strut, could look at theres and let me know. the bend is directly in front of the driver side, i thought being a leading japanese suspension company they would make there products of a bit higher quality.
  15. fitted the cold air ducting this afternoon turned out great, made two brackets for the top and bottom. annoying whistling noise at higher speeds......
  16. well ive been playing around with the lights, and still havnt been abe to make them work. so far ive, changed all brake lights, changed both ABS fuses, checked and double checked my wiring i even took every thing back to stock... and nothing........ what i think is the problem is the relay has blown? wich is what toyota's codes came up with, and my electrician told me the same thing, my question is where is this relay? so i can replace it. ive checked the fuse box but theres no rear light relays there, i dont even know if im on the right track with this, but its all i can come up with.
  17. agree with this 100%, i think your motives for a deep dish rim are more for looks than for any real performance gain, so some thing like those bsa's will more than meet your needs. fake dish is better than no dish :P
  18. id like to know what comes to mind when members think of there cars, whats the first word that comes to your head to describe your ride? mines ......... perky , not sure why but its what comes to mind
  19. i must of jolted it out of your pocket from the high g force burnout...... ;)
  20. dont worry bout a pic as yours will be hard to work on because of the 2 tone and low resalotion, just tell me what you want and ill use the ae82 on my computer.
  21. lol seriouslly i didnt know he was behind us.............. :P few things installed today, momo combat evo gear knob, toyota sport pedals (thx angelo), zze slimline weather sheilds (thx mou55a) this few mods might be the kick start i needed to do some interior mods as its very stock allso while i was at it i gave the inside a good clean........ :o heres a few things removed from the car alot of trash, mostly made up of random papers, receipts etc. alot of coins, i found the $20 note under the passanger side, so thx to who ever dropped it :P
