  4. OUCH :( Thats a bummer mate I think a few people have stories about things like this, it seems that in most cases people are either: - Blissfully unaware that they have hit you - Floggin the fuk out of their car to get away from you and leave the scene AFAP I believe in KARMA, so you know that person who did that to your car (if intentional) will get a just result sooner or later ;) At least you didnt get woken up by the sound of sliding tyres with your car alarm going off ...... run out in the rain at 5am in the morning in your boxer shorts to see a lo-lux dart around the corner and the rear end of your rolla in peices on the ground ><
  5. Well if you haven't seen it yet here is my ugly mug after a night on the p!55 a few years back
  6. Way too serious for a kid of your age !
  7. You could always use some of your mum pantyhose and an elastic band to keep costs down ;) But Dave has a good point the K+N is well known trusted and can be washed and reused (using the K+N cleaning pack) It comes down to what you fell comfortable with and what you feel is necessary. I think Shaohaok posted a link years ago with some results from some pod filter tests .... rummidge through the workshop and see what you can find.
  8. Was a good night thx guys, was good to meet a bunch of new faces. Some nice rollas there. I second Will, those who didn't come on the run missed out on some fun. Made me wish my car wasn't handling like a boat :(
  9. Thx for the reminder Bill ;) I would love to come along. I will see what my events co-ordinator has lined up for me this weekend. But seeing as that it is a night one I think I should be able to make it it. I will have to clean the car though, inside and out :(
  10. was a good publicity stunt...(or message to the oil magnates and or regulatory board) but those who were caught up in the grid lock trying to get to the cheap fuel lost nearly 1/4 tank WAITING !!
  11. good to hear a vent.... glad to hear the responce from the community Also glad to hear that you love ' golden hairy goats testicles' (alternative name given to them by chiese) btw - skin on or off ???

  15. looking good :D One of the easier and cheaper mods to make the rolla look sexy !
  16. I'M HERE!!!! Arrived on Saturday with a nice drive down the east coast. My furniture arrived last night and I am slowly unpacking. The drive to work has not been too bad (although still in school holidays) The only bad thing is that Danella comes with me to work to go to day care and she has been car sick 2 / 2 times so far. So I have to try to work out a way for her not to get sick. Or else I change to a daycare centre on the south side. Once I am moved in and have everything sorted I wouldnt mind trying to catch up with some of you all. Cheers Sads
  17. I'm out too much work to do to my house before I leave :( Have fun and drive SAFE!

  20. Maybe - If I get some things done at home first
  21. Grats Silverback :D As TRDYUS mentioned it is certainly the 'must' have mod for 2zz owners as the roar in lift certainly puts a smile on your dial :) ahhhhhh the memories, spending 5 hours at my old house installing the first 2 CAI's for the QLD guys and then driving down the highway with windows down 'lifiting' past eash other again, and again, and again laughing ever so loud and grinning like chesire cats :D And the satifaction from every stivo owner after who we helped with installs is priceless
  22. Its a new hybrid clutch plate. 5 puk brass facing on one side / dehidrated and compressed organic matter on the other (made from leftover Kebabs!)
  23. Looks like the business will be incuring a e-toll expence claim every month .. hehehe
  24. Simply grab one end of the strip and pull back away from the car at a 45deg angle in once nice slow motion. You are best to leave the car out in the sun on a a nice warm day to assist with the removal, as the heat will make the glue less brittle. Once the strips are off clean the area (normal car washing technique) then use eucalyptus oil to remove any sticky bits left on the doors. The doors look V sexy once complete. I first notice the corolla wagons in the UK with this from factory and promptly did this to my old roller when i returned back to aus. One of the eaiest ways to make the ext look sexy (thank *** the doors dont have any channels on them) have fun :)
  25. I can only comment on the 2zz here 1 - NO ! 2 - YES ! 3 - $300 ? unsure what they are these days with the exchange rate new but mine (4yrs ago) was around that price IMO - those people with stupid short arms that look like they have been taken from an MX5 and implanted in are HARD to use and require ALOT more effort to travel between gates. I helped a couple of lads install these kind of arms in stivos in QLD and they were a waste of time and money. Anyone that has driven a stivo / 1zz with the TRD shifter will agree that it is money well spent EXCEPT NO SUBSTITUTE !
