  1. yes i did drop/break mine azza... expensive exersice the part you have to watch out for are the 2 wire elements down the base of the shaft closest to O-ring these are the 'hot wires' which give the readings for how much air is passing over them

  4. I'm still here SORTA! dont get to check in as often as i used to but that might change with this new job :) I too just got rid of the STIVO sold it with 70K on it :) and still strong as an OX :P
  5. Hey Guys/Gals Just a little heads up to let you know that the Snowflake has changed hands and now belongs to a nice young guy called "josh" He does read these forums but I dont think he posts. Most of you should easily recognice my car even without the MASSIVE for sale sign :P and the VIP sticker remved from the windscreen. If you see him around say g'day and dont be a stranger. He lives around the Indooroopilly area but often travels to the north side for work. Someone with a stivo bodykitted ascent (silver) has already tried to race him on coronation drive..... :P So sad to say You wont see me here at all now. every now and then I will poke my head in ... and when i get the new car I will let you all know still unsure what I'm getting atm due to the fact that I have started a new job with Virgin Blue in their IT area and I live only a 15 minute walk from my new office :D oh btw - Sorry for posting in the COROLLA SECTION!
  6. Well HELLO from the grave I will be the proud father to a undesclosed gender of baby on or around the 12 Nov this year Yesterday Xanthe and I went to RBWH for our first scan, which checks for downs syndrome and other thing. Being that Xanthe is almost 35 the risk of having a child with downs syndrome is greater. I', pleased to say that initial tests look good. we are just waiting on some blood tests to confirm that everything is going well So far the baby is fit and healthy looking with an above average size/growth rate here is the pic of the scan for you all to see ...... needless to say I am over the moon with having a family of my own btw - the cheeky bugger was even 'WAVING' at us when we were having the ultrasound!!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!
  7. I'm not sure if the plastic cradle is the same part number but they are almost identicle in size and shape. I think TRD supply the cradle for ease of install. Simply undo the clips on the selector cables, undo 4 bolts through the cradle to the tunnel and then reverse to process to install. Whereas changing the shifter arm means removing the colloar off the cradle and then repaking the arm later...which can be an issue and I have seen some ppl....no names....that have almost destroyed the cradle trying to fit 'after market' short shift kits to the stock cradle. One infact had an after market arm installed, and the collar was damaged and actually lifted off making shifting gears a nightmare untill it was noticed by myself and fixed.

  12. juan WELCOME to the forums :) Yes the TRD quick shift kit is VERY NICE!..... it is not the shortest of the shift kits available out there on the market but the sound and feel and ease of installation make it a very work while mod :) in all only takes you around 15-20 minutes to install
  13. Agre azza ..... I also think that the best thing to get anywhere is to do something for nothing....Volunteer!!! do a shietty job..... everyone has to start somewhere...and once you learn that and get over the fact that your not going to leave school and go into a $40K job at the age of 18....all the bette :) (some luky people do though) Played too much sport at school and left with an OP of 21!!! now managing a new retail computer store and have 14 staff underneath me :) briZcom :P
