got my rotors (x4) replaced 2-3 weeks ago under warranty for brake shudder, very pleased with what they have done.. recently driving i can hear grinding noises it was at night so i ran my fingers along the disc rotors and it was smooth, no indications of metal to metal. ( i havn't taken my wheels off yet to check ) Wouldn't Toyota notified me that my pads are low, + i just got my car 2,500km ago used from toyota. Can anything else cause this grinding? also its at stopping speeds, if i apply brakes at 100 it wont grind, NSF ( Near Side Front )!!! -ta!

o micky i see, will use that formula next time. the 579 was from a full tank 95octane, from fuel visible to the filler neck right down to when i almost thought the fuel was going to run out. i mainly ran it low so i can put 98 in her.

don't forget since its a front wheel drive, your front wheels have power transferred from the tyres to the road, turning left and right, and suspension going up and down. of course it will wear quicker than the rear, rear tyres are only turning with the exception of going up and down...

yeah random, ive had had a pring already, $1850 in excess in my old falcon, it was a luv tap at only 5km/h outside the front of my school :( my bonnet was bent and side wheel arches pushed back to where it was hard to open the ford doors... i have had a few calls in the rolla but not my fault, it was while i was sensible..

Evening, Im taking out my amp and sub and putting it into my new little car, before i didnt worry about rms and ohms, but now looking at the parts, ive got 225rms 4ohms sub 300rms 2ohms amp monoblock is this good for my sub? what does it mean if the ohms is different? how much total power will be going to the sub if the ohms is 2 not 4?? thankyou for your help. -Daniel

1st roughly 65, 2nd just over 100. yes we all know speeding is stupid, and should not be done, we all say its stupid and should not be done but everyone does it. May be stupid but i never drive my car, its at a family's house 30km away from me, im paying of a debt and when i do get the chance to drive it, i feel that ive worked hard for it and i can enjoy the ride, most the time i take it easy and enjoy the ride, but shameless to say, as ive said before i do speed and i do feel stupid after it. and sorry for saying what speed i do, to most its bragging, but stupidity on my behalf, im just a ****** p plater who thinks their invincible behind the wheel

yes yoshi i know ta, tho i must admit, after i do speed and i stop at lights, i take a look at the person nxt to me in their car and think if i lost control and hit his car who's family am i destroying, :( so i do have a guilty conscience, and i try and only do it when i know its safe and i can't destroy other peoples family, and no-oone else is in my car.

too true. took my p plates off the other day, going on the highway, wanted to go 110 without dirty's, so happily driving 110, ( 20 days till im on my fulls ), and it was raining, decided to lick the redline as you suggested in gear 4 B) pulled 180 on m4 at roughly 2pm. sprinkling, but its the adrenalin rush johnie, leave us P platers alone, we live to learn the hard way
