  1. A bit of an update. Stubby Antenna was on a while ago; 3000k foggies came a few days ago but haven't managed to put them in yet. Stock fog bulbs seems so stiff in the socket, maybe another attempt tonight after work. =) Peter.
  2. That's alright mate! Welcome back! Hehe Thanks for the reply, did you managed to fix that knocking over bumps in the rear? Peter.
  3. John, I haven't reached a conclusion regarding coils either.. (2 months down the track..haha <_< )
  4. Hahaha, and people looked at me weird when I said I was going to buy 3000k yellow HIDs for my foggies! :D
  5. I can't make it, I'll be down in Torquay that weekend. If you are bored during the weeknights during your visit, give one of us zre's a yell, we're normally up for something. :P Guni and Vinh are doing a trial run in east Victoria today, so they will let you know how it goes soon!!
  6. If he is correct, it's nothing to worry about Will. To be honest, I haven't checked mine since I first read your post. But maybe I should..just to confirm haha Peter.
  7. Sounds good. I'm not sure if I have work then (vacation work) but I'm down!! Peter.

    My Corolla

Nice wheels, car's looking good! Like these wheels better. Saw you gunning it down springy road on thurs night. If I had your number, would've called you and say 'come wax your car too!!' hahaha Peter.
  9. Good decision mate!!! Some bit of advice, take care of the interior from the very start, some of the plastic is easy to scratch. John will be happy, another ZRE in NSW haha
  10. When you say you used to park it on the curb, do you mean have the right-side wheels on the road and the left ones up on the grass/curb? Heard over time it's not good to do that, maybe this is the reason.
  11. No worries. I've already uploaded my dyno sheet to my page. ZRE152 ZR Stock Dyno From what other sportivo owners told me that dyno day, the CAI will increase power and torque high but slightly less torque down low. That's why I was asking about down low, question is by how much! :) Peter.
  12. Loving the Osram Diadems! Here's another photo of them and a baseline dyno sheet done at GTCC Club back in July. Planning to tint my car this or next week - getting quotes at the moment. And need to decide whether to get TRD Sportivo Suspension or get Tanabe Coilover GF's by next week. Thinking about suspension for far too long now! Stubby antenna is on the way. :) Peter.
  13. Do you mean the black rubber that the red arrow is pointing to below? And also, how are the back adjustable? Aren't the tanabe coilover set just springs and shocks at the rear? Thanks! Peter. He has GF. I've been researching..haha the site he bought it from has same part number as GF.
  14. I know what you mean! My hands aren't that big and I struggled just to put the parkers in on the passenger side! Apparently it's easier if you remove the front bar..but don't take my word for it. Other than that, looks good. Now to complete the look! Peter.
  15. Let me know how it goes. Luckily for you (and for your reference), I have already dyno'd my car (was doing it for kicks haha). Everything stock, best run was 74.1kW @5900-6000RPM at the wheels and ~220N.m @3500-4000RPM atw. Pretty much smooth power curve all the way to peak power. As for torque, hovers between 190-220N.m at all revs. Let me know if you want me to scan my dyno sheet to compare. :P Peter. Edit: I dyno'd my car at the July Meet, at GTCC Club Meet with some TOCAU members.
  16. Welcome mate! We just did a cruise to and through Healesville on the Sunday just gone past!! :)
  17. Last bunch of photos I have.. After car wash at Sunshine..Nice & shiny!! :D
  18. Ah okay. Looks like the U part of the piping is going to stay there disconnected for now until I look at it more carefully. I want to remove it properly. Thanks! Pretty tight engine bay huh? haha :) How's the CAI? Lose a bit of torque down low? Peter.
  19. Looks freaken awesome Alex!! Looks sex. Photoshoot sometime! Hehe keep it up. Peter. Edit: I believe it's time for you to update your profile picture. :P
  20. Nice bro! Looks pimping as!! ;)
  21. Hrmm, I have disconnected and removed the little stock piping where the air feed is (where air goes in) to where it meets the piping that is a 'U shape' (if you get what I mean haha). I have also disconnected the part of the piping where it meets the stock airbox. I tried pulling out the U part of the piping, couldn't get it loose so assumed it was hooked down to something haha. So you're saying what is holding the lower section of the pipe down is similar to the thing that holds the battery in place? If the front bar needs to come off..I might leave it there for now if it's too difficult. It's not connected to anything atm. Thanks! Peter. EDIT: I was thinking about it back when the INJEN prototype was out, but I have decided not to get one. :)
  22. Yep, I noticed that as well when I was driving my mum's car (2001 rolla >120,000kms). It shakes while idling, but it didn't seem to worry me.
