  1. Ahhh thanks few more questions: 1. How did you keep the projector in place inside the headlight. you have to loose the lens cover in order to put the projector in. the kit includes secure rings that will keep the projector in place. 2. How does the connector for the lights work (projector and angel eyes) see following link 3. any chance you can scan/take a picture of the instructions that you used or came with the box? see following link Thanks http://shinehid.com/ If you open this link, you can download the instruction manual. This is exactly the place where I got my kit.. :P
  2. really nice looking car mate.. The angel eyes projector kit looks the same. here's a pic of my kit. The box looks the same as the one from ebay. The kit includes everything needed (hid bulbs, ballast, relay, wiring, etc.... Everything) Go for it man.. B) And i recommend to also do a black mod to your headlights. will look even better
  3. Thanks for the comments guys. Really appreciate it :D You guys make me love the mod even more..
  4. Finally some pictures.. :) Thanks to my friend Joey modification was easier than i thought.. Here are some pics... I decided to also blacken a little piece of the side marker.. makes the headlight look a bit more aggressive form the side And this is what it looks like.. Very sweet :) pictures whit light on..
  5. looks like another discussion is going on on here... <_< Question still unanswered.. I already searched, but like i was saying all of them i saw put the headlights in the oven. I assume that using a heat gun i need to use another temperature than using the oven. so what temperature do you guys think?
  6. Hey guys, This saturday I will start off with modifying my headlights. I bought a set of bi-xenon angel eyes projector kit. To get these to fit, i'll have to open the headlight. I got a question about this point.. I read on different forums that the headlights are put in the oven, etc.. But i was wondering if using a heat gun is also an option? I was thinking about using the heat gun and warm the edges. If that is also a possibility, what temperature (in F) should be good?? here is a pic of projector with angel eyes this is the kit. I'm also putting hid for the foglights
  7. Hey guys, I also have a squealing noise in the front when braking. I don't know what kind of brake pads are in now; I bought the car second hand and never looked/changed. Now.. I was thinking about getting the black TRD front brake pads and then turning the rotors. Will the noise still remain? Cause that answer from Superdave makes me think twice.. :o
  8. maybe not the best one, but take a look http://cgi.ebay.com/TOYOTA-COROLLA-E12-SID...s=|293:1|294:50
  9. Hehe.. sorry for the late reply Thanks, a really QUICK edit though.. :P Keep up the good work ;)
  10. A SET OF VERY NICE PICS MATE.. AND THE FRONT BUMPER REALLY IS ONE OF A KIND! I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S MY PC OR CONNECTION OR SOMETHING, BUT I CAN'T SEE AL OF THE PICS. RELOADING SEVERAL TIMES DIDN'T HELP. ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS PROBLEM? I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL THE PICS..
  11. I just saw these springs and was wondering if anyone applied these on their car? And does anyone know if it is applicable for the zze123 or even zze121-124? For those who have these, please share your experience... http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspens...&perfCode=S I'm in desperate search for a set of springs with a affordable price..
  12. Sorry dude.. No aftermarket headlights for 2001. I was (am) also desperate for halo projector lights (with angel eyes) for our car. I sent the guys from mars performance an email to ask. They don't have any..:-S After that mail i stopped searching :-P
  13. I was wondering if there is any other brand besides tein, that has a coilover set for zze123? Tein is a bit too expensive for me at the moment. I was thinking about getting something for $850 max..
  14. Looking at your profile i think you're from Suriname right?? If that's so, then i think i finally found a 'friend' nearby ;-) I have the same car as you, but my fuel consumption is better then yours :-P mine says 1l doing 9.5 km. Still not the same as toyota says tough :-S
  15. I think this one will look really nice. Was thinking about getting one myself. And I also think you should go with something that contrast the white.. http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/WheelDet...&CheckFit=1
  16. I think this is what you mean. As you can see the door handles and also the garnish at the back are chrome. This is how I bought the car. But I don't know where you can find it dude..
  17. Thanks for the reply's guys. I can definitely use the info. One more question tough: If I only upgrade to 18'' rims, would it be 'harmful' for my stock suspension. Cause i'm not planning on lowering the car now.
  18. Hey guys I will soon put on 18" rims on my sportivo. But still a bit unsure about offset, etc.. I You have 18" rims on your sportivo can you please post the specs of the rims and tyres. pictures would also be nice. Also I want to know if you have any problems with tyres 'rubbing' against the vender or when cornering if the front tire bumps with the bodywork. Also add info if you lowered the car or not. Thanks in advance. This will help me make a decision.
  19. After reading the fuel consumption you guys are getting i'm nearly ashamed of posting mine! Back here in Suriname there are no highways, only what you guys call urban and city roads. Having said that, the most km i can get from a full tank is 380 km, driving at an average of 3000 rpm. Only ones i hit the 400 mark!! May sound unbelievable. But it's true.
  20. I'm sorry I posted on the wrong forum..:$ My bad..:-) Should have posted on the corolla sportivn page. Btw I have corolla allex zze123
  21. Is there a decent coilover set for about $600?? I don't wanna spent too much, cause i'm only lowering for the looks. If i can find a coilover set (doesn't have to be adjustable) for about $600 then i'll do that.. If not i'm only changing springs.
  22. haha.. that's what I tought. it couldn't be rupee :) Do you think the products are good quality?
  23. Hey guys I found this website with a couple of aftermarket products for our car. But I don't know the prices in US$, since the prices say e.g. R995.00 I searched for a currency converter and if the R stands for Rupee than the items are very cheap. http://www.autostyle.co.za/prodlist.php?pi...X&showall=1 So can anyone tell me how much US$ R1.00 is?? I was looking at a corner wing splitter it says that it's a universal part. Do you guys think it will fit the corolla sportivo front spoiler? Will it look great? http://www.autostyle.co.za/prodview.php?pr...ndstr=&str=
  24. Yep, that's what the grill looks like. Do you think I should leave it like that? I was thinking about putting a C-one grill
