Hi Pete, Thanks for your reply. I think you will find that most of the members on this forum do work full time as well, myself included. I think that I need to state right here and now that this forum is the "Toyota Owners Club" Not the Corolla owners club, not the Aurion owners club, not the Celica owners club or any other model for that matter. The different sections are merely to break the forum up to keep things simple and organised. No, there isnt a section for every Toyota ever made, understandably so as there are only a few Toyota models that gain the attention of true enthusiasts. I'm sorry that you arent happy with the fact that the Avalon and Aurion sections are grouped together. To me, this makes perfect sense. - The Aurion is the (much improved) replacement vehicle for the Avalon, in the same way the Yaris is to the Echo. They dont have seperate sections either. - I cannot think of one Avalon owner. However, if we did have an owner, they would have a section, otherwise we would hear them complaining instead. To me, it seems like the Aurion members are only interested in their section. The person that started this thread hasnt even bothered to come back and reply! We are trying to help, but we need imput from all members to make this forum better for everyone. You need to understand that 6 months ago, this forum was 99% full of Corolla owners, and as such the majority of moderators turned out to be Corolla owners. Since then, different sections have increased in numbers and activity, and we want to accomodate this, but if the non-corolla members won't use the rest of the forum, I dont see what we can do to help. More than happy to take suggestions.

yep everything from ces has gone up in price, but despite my arguments, no one will update the price on this forum. Someone should argue with ces about the price listed on this forum and see how they go :P

there is no proof that any cold air intake gives more power than another type. Even if you tried to prove it, there are too many variables that could affect the results. A cai is a cai, all it does is suck air into the car from a different position than standard. Get the trd, much better value at this price!

a cai is just a pipe. They are all basically the same.

Does the noise get louder as the revs go up? Could be an small leak in an engine hose, or perhaps the manifold gasket falling to pieces

Hi Aurion members, I hate to point this out but I havent seen a comment from any of you in this topic. Not sure why. We would like to see the Aurion section more integrated with the rest of the forum. You do all realise that there are more sections to this forum, dont you? There are sections such as the Club lounge for off topic discussions, Member's Rides to show off your pride and joy, as well as the Suspension, Exhaust, and Stereo sections, just to name a few. It seems that all the Aurion members only post in the Aurion section. What can we (the rest of the forum) do to integrate you further with us? Perhaps some of you could look at posting in THIS topic for a start. Please Aurion members, I have opened this topic back up so post your thoughts. Cheers.

Hey All, Rob (Badboys/Heinz) and I crashed the Pulsar club's dyno day today. Happy to say that we both successfully beat every Pulsar present, which was our initial aim. Best of the day was the 2-door R31 skyline that had lots of work done to it, it put out 220kw. My result: I'll let Rob post his later :P :P

I'll add, i'm going with the GF, so looking to do some adventure activites, some cultural, and lots of touristy things. No family stuff LOL, too young for that I think the gf also wants to go horseriding, so if someone can suggest somewhere cool to do that I may consider it :P
