  1. at least 100+ octane. an avgas/fuel mix would be good but you cannot buy avgas anymore. Racing fuels like elf are very expensive, however i suppose you could use them on the street.
  2. Ladies and Gentleman, I have an annoucement. Ahem. Rob and Simo and two giant poofs. That is all. You can go now.
  3. yeah i got no idea whats going on. I wouldnt be swimming at either PI or KP anymore, not with the current water situation
  4. Old news I know, but I can't help myself ... Northy, are you saying that you didn't do a search before you posted this? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Go BUDDHA!!!
  5. pretty sure the sydney monthly meets occur monthly, and they are the last sat of the month. There's a big pinned topic just above
  6. Apparently the celica also has the same 2zzge engine, so in fairness the clutches for the celica and other parts for it should also fit on our corolla rite? yes and no. The celica originally had the 2ZZ engine, which was then donated to the corolla as well. Some celica parts will fit the engine, others wont.
  7. wow i have no idea whats going on
  8. yes, but its being covered lots before, there should be heaps of information around, try searching for clutch Also a matrix is a corolla anyway so whats with the celica part?
  9. oh so u want a panel filter not a pod... hmmmm different story. I cant help sorry :P
  10. mate i dont think they make one specific to the rolla ...... i know some cars have specific ones for them and i think they make a universal one u just need to know how big u want the opening in the filter that its going to attach to ..... because ive altered my setup with my piping and MAF sensor i think im using the 300zx one but thats because all my piping and its fitting is custom. Can anyone else comment ? most of the filters ive seen come in different types/part numbers based on the diameter of the neck. So just find the one thats either 2.75" or 3"
  11. your wondering where the chassis number is located? well the places you check for the chassis number is the rego sticker, compliance plates, and then firewall. If they all match, call REVS. if they dont, walk away. As for where the compliance plates are located, normally on the firewall as well, otherwise maybe front of engine bay and or boot.
  12. agreed. You cant single out a particular area of blame for the price of petrol. And Azza (from a much much earlier post :P), you need to remember that even though our market doesnt directly relate to the US oil price, it still impacts on the world supply and demand of crude oil, therefore the prices will always be relative to each other.
  13. Micky!! That is such a deplorable attitude to have...yes, you look after your car, and yes you have had to pay more - something you have chosen, or been educated enough to do, though. Even if they are only catching up, that in turn means you are now paying EVEN more than what you have just whined over. Therefore, their whinge is completely justifiable! So is it a case of "poor you" because you pay for higher octane? NO! The price increase is the same across the board. So any percentage increase you have to pay, the rest of the public too have to fork out for. It is all relative... If anything, you should sympathise with the unleaded public - a lower price for them means a respectively lower price for you. Dude, you need to toughen up. It cant always be about helping the masses, you gotta look after yourself. Well, i guess you havent worked there long enough yet, you still have a soul :P

    WedsSport Racing Nuts

I quoted the size of the nuts on the page before... if the hole available is bigger than the size (i think it was 25mm) then they will fit nice!
  15. Nope, Motec im pretty sure is a complete unit now. PFC is close to plug and play, but as I stated before it has some shortcomings with regards to variable cam control as well. no idea about the Hydra EMS either. I am interested to see this AEM ECU though.
  16. hmmm lets see. Me - Micky_tee Jimmy - Tayles Rob - BadBoyz Simo - Simo Mick - Mick0082 Leroy - Leroy Dom - Fad Richo - RO114 Jen - Jen Sheldon - Orderlast1 Airbourne Anthony - twobeers Glenn - whiterola Karen/Alan - Nextmod/icandy/ I cant think of anymore, but im sure there are more
  17. mate whats there not to believe ..... if that supra is running a single conversion big F@#$k off turbo & is running NOS it will make an absolute mess of the lambo ...... look on youtube there are a few 1000HP supra's around. exactly, i didnt think it was that unbelievable.
  18. I'm still under the belief that the goal posts have been set very high here. From what I have seen with those mods listed, you would be looking at less than 170ps atw. Especially seeing how you are using the pfc, the engine I saw with a motec made 130kw atw, and the motec is much better as it allows you to control in closed loop. If you want to stay NA and be powerful, I would stroke it to 1933cc. Makes closer to 150kw atw, but the torque difference is massive. Just my 2c
  19. i have also been MIA. Hello everyone
  20. Pulsars are Gay Australia whoops I mean Pulsar Group of Australia
  21. exactly, driving school. Its about time the rest of the public got used to what the people who care about their cars have had to pay for quite a while now :P
