  1. Yeah, still trying to find someone I can trust to put in the clutch. Exedy Heavy Duty clutch is looking to cost me around the $620 mark. Still sniffing for a cheaper price.
  2. I know man. A fact my wallet is fully aware of. I was getting some quotes the other day with regards to fitting a new clutch kit.... $1000 + the cost of the clutch. Ouch!
  3. Fitted Anthony's TRD Strut brace so I can get a metal shop to whip up a custom brace using those dimensions.
  4. You'd have to remove the headunit and get the CD out that way. Electronically (ie - pressing buttons etc) we weren't able to do it. I didn't bother physically opening the headunit once we got it out; I just bought a new one.
  5. hahhaha. If i were to say I hate them, would the price go lower If you are rocking up to a meet on a Thursday, we can meet then if you like?
  6. Looking good man. Bodykit is ace
  7. - Stock rotors/brake pad setup does not like heavy braking on applications such as... Brisbane's Mt Nebo run. I am certain I warped my rotors as a result. - Stock headunit appears to not like burnt CD's. You can keep feeding them in and it will keep taking them. I think we got up to 11 CD's before we stopped Other than that, I personally couldn't think of anything to worry about.
  8. I am assuming it's a Gen5 2002 and not a Gen4.5 2002? I have a Gen 5 2002 (rolled of the production line September 2002) and I love it. No real gripe with it being stock, but that doesn't mean I haven't modded mine. Just got my supercharger for it today so it won't be long before I am running FI
  9. how loooooow can you go for the Splits?
  10. Struts installed today, no bushes as one of them were cracked. Oh... Also got myself one of these in the mail today.
  11. Just handed her to a mechanic to get my front struts replaced + install some steering rack bushes.
  12. yes! man, pm me your cell no. incase we are somewhere else or something :) hahahah, I'd better. Knowing my luck you buggers will decide to all go to Nebo again.
  13. Will be there tonight, not sure what time. Either 8pm or just after 9pm depending on my work requirements. MICK - REDBULL...!
  14. Just popping in a request from Gabe (aka trd4life on Solarguy forums) with regards to anyone with a Aristo: Can you see if any of the guys with Aristos happen to have the 4wd components from the uzs143 AWD 4.0v8 ZiFour awd Aristo? I figure someone had to have it imported and might not be using it, etc. I'm looking for the front hubs/4wd shafts, etc. Maybe even the transmission (or transfer case). cheers gabe Please post your replies and I'll keep him up to date, thanks :)
  15. Noticed a glowing Self-Serve Hoppy's the other night when the crew decided to head out to Nebo (thought they might ahve been @ the Rail). Definitely will attend this Thursday.
  16. You'll win. I'm looking at around 1.5-2months at this stage. Besides the RS01 Camry toyota made, this as far as I know will be the first documented Gen 5's with the Supercharger I wasn't particularly impressed with PlastiX at all. The 3M headlight restoration kit gets a decent wrap on the net.
  17. Hrmm... I'd better get chatting to SupaTouring then! That Vortech looks pretty sweet too, man.
  18. Fixed the passenger door so it opens from inside, with the help of a mate. Also, not quite "what did you do to your car" but heralds the coming of something very great...
  19. will zip in for 1-2mins while I give Mick some Redbull he's earned, and some he's bought.
  20. Are 4-Point Front Member Braces and Rear Member braces worthwhile buying?
  21. Spotted a STYLSH Gen4 Camry outside the chemist parking lot on Beaudesert Road today. I hardly ever see you there any more anthony...
  22. My statement was more of a joke. I've turned up to two Sydney meets, once having to drive from Canberra, the other having to drive from the Hunter Valley. I'm that dedicated . Dedicated... crazy. Same difference, right?
  23. QLD is the place to be if you have an Aurion... unlike the Sydney squad that seems to be focussed around ZRE's :P If you are coming from the Sunny Coast, just be aware not to expect too much. Our meets are nice and simple and can sometimes end up having only a few people turn up. It's just that the drive is a little on the long side and the meet might not leave you satisfied. Who would drive such a distance just for a meet . Evo7 kinda does that distance... and all that seems to happen is that he gets ragged!
  24. Finally got round to pulling out the LH door panel to find our why my door doesn't open from the inside. A cheap plastic clip is broken, off to Toyota parts on Monday!
