  1. I bought a pair of bushes for the rear lower control arms and asked my local fulcrum for an estimated install + installing a RSB of my own... $520 including alignment Turns out my rear lower control arm bushes are fine, bloody Jax Quikfit didn't know what he was talking about, it was a rose joint. Good old SupaTouring to the rescue. FS: 2x Genuine Toyota bushes...
  2. won't make the dinner (as usual) but will be @ the loop around the 9.30pm mark
  3. just washed it. Late i know, but i can't sleep so what the hell...!
  4. man, I'd be furious... bad luck man. Hopefully things work out for you
  5. spotted a Champagne 36 series camry complete with cannon coming out of the QUT carpark last night, about 7.45pm last night. Anyone here?
  6. Was very happy with spending the money for the full exhaust system. I gained alot of power in the lower end of the spectrum which is useful, especially from a standing start. It's hard to say how much I gained from it, simply because I haven't really pushed it in the higher gears. However, dropping it into 3 @ 100kph, theres' still alot of pull which makes overtaking alot easier to do as well. from ~60 - ~100kph in 2nd gear, the engine + exhaust sings a really nice tune and you can really feel the pull. In addition to the power gain, I gained fuel efficiency as well. I was getting around 14-15L/100 prior to the install, and since I've got the work done, my average has been 12.71L/100 over ~8200km. Well worth it, but expect to pay a penny or two!
  7. I was getting about 14.0-15L per hundred when I got my camry from my brother. 02 v6 Manual Mainly city driving (peak hour to the city driving...!) however. That being said I was doing a fill of standard unleaded, with every fifth tank a 98RON. I got the injectors cleaned @ Toyota but it didn't help. When I got my extractors done + catback I'm getting mid 12's to mid 13's. The overall L/100 since I got the work done is 12.71, which I was pretty happy with; however I have only been using 98RON since I got it done.

    Evo's 1zz

/sigh Sounds good Evan. Makes the waiting for my S/C that much more painful.
  9. Don't. Once he gets your car he can lodge a claim and you get right-royally screwed. That is, if his 'agent' doesn't discover where you live and beats you within an inch of your life to get your car first.
  10. For some reason you stuck out like all hell. Spotted you a mile away, It's hard to wave when you're on my left side, but I did try
  11. If I can get out early enough... Soft run for me. Otherwise, meet you @ the loop once you's are done.
  12. washed it. Boy does she need at the very least a claybar + wax.
  13. Hrmmm... Nebo this week. I'll try to get my **** down to the loop early enough.
  14. Paid for this morning. Forgot to set the alarm earlier to compensate paying time and arrived a little late at work... Mum wasn't too impressed. Opting to go the stock 4psi kit @ this stage, if I feel the need, I'll hit up Gabe for the 5.5psi pulley later on. So excited, so very excited.
  15. I think Horatio can explain this the best: Just waiting for the final confirmation of payment details from Gabe before I swing out the hard earned.
  16. Stay back! That SC is mine! /whip *whoopish*
  17. Put in the bootliner Supatouring sold to me and drove it. While heading through peak hour in the city to get to uni something whacked my bootlid hard enough to put in a nice dent <_< . It was big enough that when I heard the bang the driver behind me was having a gawk as to where the mystery item came from. Not particularly impressed.
  18. Was nice to see Evan's car, even if it was only for a few seconds. It certainly sounds good though! Wanted to apologise for my brief appearance. Was knackered from the cycle + have a tonne of work to do right now (including dreaming of getting a S/C thanks to Evan + Supatouring). Mid-semester break next week so I should be able to make a real appearance.
  19. Zooey may be attractive but she can't act very well. Her sister is a better actor and if you ask me, as attractive. If all else fails, Katy Perry would be a sufficient substitute (though she can't sing).
  20. Do you work in the area? :o nah, I just live off Park road in Yeerongpilly. About 5mins away
  21. Far out. Can I see extractors + a turbo?
  22. woke up @ 4.30 this morning and it was fine. Opened up the business and came home around 8.30am. Went to bed and woke up @ 12.10 to see the sky was orange... as is my car. Had to drive to the Commonwealth bank @ moorooka and can barely see down Ipswich road. My throat is sore. Now, a bright red sky would be interesting.
  23. Took her out for a spin tonight and I can notice a difference. Whether it's a placebo effect or not is a different story. The front feels tighter but I can definitely feel the body roll in the rear now.
  24. Saw a Honda CRV today with the plates "DRIFTN" (Gold lettering, black background) @ Kangaroo Point today. I assume he/she took the plates of another car cause I can't imagine anyone drifting a CRV...
  25. Installed a Ultra Racing Strut Brace today. Had to remove the upper strut nuts on the left Strut to allow the strut to drop when I jacked the car, in order for the brace to fit.
