  1. Sounds like you have already made up your mind. Let us know (with dyno chart!) how well it goes.
  2. A sun root? I'd much prefer a root, then again I wouldn't want to pay $2k for a root though. Price is about right + I recommend it. They look good and it's an excellent way to get rid of the hot air if you've been sitting in the sun for a while.
  3. It is the placebo effect, Iridium spark plugs are not bought for the sole purpose of performance gains. Chances are your sparks needed a change and you're just noticing the difference between a standard plug that is old and a newer plug that is designed to be more efficient (though technically you shouldn't be using a single electrode plug!)
  4. I am not looking forward to it at all. I just remembered, you got your TRD virtually at the same time I had the charger installed. It's going to be an interesting time for both of us.
  5. Discovered the charger is going to hate these long summer months.
  6. I'll be @ Hoppys for a wash as well. It's no longer the best place for a extended clean (wash clay wax) but I can help you wash if you like. Make sure you wear some aeroguard/rid + bring your Anti-insect-biting force field as well. If you want some Quick Wax you'll need to buy some Quick Wax or Ultimate Quick Wax as I ran out last week.

    Evo's 1zz

NO HE DOES NOT!! He had HID's in it for a while and they blinded everyone. IMO HID's are great, but you really need projectors for them. hahahahaah he does need HID's but he needs the right bloody housings for them. Don't get him to put them back in, it took us Brisbane crew months to get him to take it out. But it wasn't even us, it was the motorists who flashed him, swore at him and gave him the finger which convinced him the lights were too bloody blinding.
  8. I just noticed this post... What do you have against squinty eyes...?
  9. Just updated with the new manuals (thanks again to SupaTouring).
  10. But it makes a difference!!!! @ Daryl - You are on a rampage tonight!!!! hahahahahah
  11. Nice. Love the chaser + nice power output
  12. The eBay shocks, I am assuming you are referring to the Ultima ones? They aren't a nobody brand by any means but I haven't heard anything (good or bad) about them (http://www.wholesalesuspension.com.au/ultima.html) My biggest issue with eBay is warranty claims. I've had a few issues with computer goods and it's always been crap to get it on warranty (through eBay) and I've always had to deal with the manufacturer.
  13. I don't know how much shipping is, but it's not that much effort to provide some details!
  14. The Mothers Clay kit is superior value. You get more clay and a wiping towel as well (on top of the Showtime Spray Detailer)
  15. Definitely worth getting a second opinion as Pedders is so damn expensive. Most places will offer you a free suspension check and quote; let them know you are shopping around so they will give you a competitive price. If you want a good quality OEM replacement shock, KYB Excel-G shocks are hard to beat. Good shops will sell them for around $150 or so. You can alternatively order them from Greg @ GSL Rallysport who does them at good prices. Poly bushes are a good upgrade if you want a firmer ride but you will notice the increase in NVH. Nolathane & SuperPro are the 2 big ones but I believe Whiteline recently entered the poly bush market. While your steering rack is out, I strongly recommend putting in the steering rack poly bushes. They will increase your steering response dramatically.
  16. Yes to both points. If you aren't looking for a performance shock, the KYB Excel-G shocks are a very good choice and are cheaper than the Toyota Genuine.
  17. I completely agree with your sentiments regarding thw wash and wax. A definite double edged sword. I washed her on Friday only to have it rain about 200m after leaving Hoppys Oh well, at least your wheels look clean, for now
  18. Welcome to the forums. You'll have abit of fun with modding your aurion. Plenty of people to give you ideas of what to do :)
  19. At that price, will consider the Kuhmos next time. Getting the Michelins put on now.
  20. Dear Ash. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170535746984#ht_729wt_789 I expect it to arrive in my mailbox soon and I will forward it on with much haste. Regards - Andrew
  21. That XR6 sounds nice. Question on the 350z though... Is he forgetting to change gears?
