  1. I wonder who would be faster on the 1/4? We have a Willowbank meet coming up in the next month or 2. Keep your next few Wednesday's free. In other news: I removed all my old audio equipment bar the headunit + cabling. I'm so surprised at how Shiite the MTX TX-6001's really are. They are small, lightweight and flimsy. Not forgetting to mention the Shiite-ness of the install. I'm glad this install will be a father and son thing. My dad is as thorough as Dave (SupaTouring) if not more thorough! (and they both have a background working with electricity) Subwoofer box details will be finalised in the next week and the specs will be handed over to a cabinet maker. Replacing the front and rears with 6.5" splits + powering the left and right channels separately (have 2x2Ch Response amps ready, 150w per channel).
  2. We usually rock up around 8pm, but at 9pm there is still a fair bit of time to chat anyway. Last time I saw Ingres was 2 weeks before the Annual meet.
  3. Bon Jovi - You Give Love a Bad Name Ohhhh yeah! Power ballads and killer guitar solos rock.
  4. No return for Anthony? Actually, I was hoping to save the $1000 for that lonely Sportivo Accessories bodykit...
  5. eh? I thought we got rid of you?
  6. Doesn't make me feel so bad as no aggressive runs till the Camry is fixed up. Front lower control arm + front and rear trailing arm bushes need to be replaced. Big job as they are all connected to shhtuff and while I am there; going to get the engine steady bushes + steering rack bushes put in. Approximately $1000. There goes all my tax return.
  7. god damn cracker ass cracker! ass crackers? They don't sound very appetising.
  8. Enough clay and wax to last a lifetime me-thinks! Did Adam get back to you regarding the tail lights at all?
  9. Should be available for thursday, but not sure what car. Camry gets the suspension checked tomorrow but I don't think I am going to get lucky with a booking for Thursday; especially if I need to have the parts ordered in.
  10. Dear Andrew Please remember that longcat is not suitable for an Iphone/HTC and similar screens and bandwidth. Please keep it in mind before you sit and wait for longcat to finish. Kind regards Andrew
  11. It's early yet; we'll see which Wednesday is most popular then we can make a decision. Entry is $20 or $40 if you are taking your car down the 1/4
  12. Sorry, this is a strictly Toyota TOCAU meet only. J/k, you're more than welcome to come. Elgin too; as long as he doesn't flog us too badly in his Evo :P
  13. Dinner + drags people: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28831&st=
  14. After a couple of Facebook pictures that has been posted, it has been agreed that Brisbane is in need of a TOCAU Willowbank Raceway (WR) meet with a Hogs Breath dinner to follow. Most people seem to agree that Wednesday WR runs are better as there are less numbers so you get more runs so I have stuck to the Wednesday dates. All the dates listed come direct from the WR site which shows the availability of Wednesday for the Test and Tune runs. The biggest issue I see for having a Drag then Dinner meet on the same night is as depending on how long we stay out at Willowbank we may not get back in time for dinner. So I have listed one of two options: 1) Drag + dinner on the same night 2) Drag on Wednesday, Dinner on the next day to replace our usual Loop meet (that or we eat then go to the Loop afterwards). Poll options are listed, at this stage the smaller details of the arrangements (ie - meet up before and travel to WR as a group, which Hogs Breath venue etc) will be discussed at the loop and finalised once we gauge how much interest we will get. Interested? If so Drag only? Dinner only? Both? 1 - Andrew357 - Both 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 -
  15. If you aren't tired of riding in an Aurion... I'll take you around. <3 Man, what happened to all the hate?
  16. Car won't handle a mountain run at the moment. Need to replace my rear strut mounts as my strut keeps shifting and rubbing against my RSB. Heading to Fulcrum tomorrow for analysis so we might have it ready for Thursday. If it remains dry might take mums car out; if it is wet I won't be heading out. 1.Silvabullit 2.Northy 3.DJKOR 4.Soarer_Gurl (maybe) 5.Andrew357 (maybe) 6. 7. 8. 9. 10
  17. Surprisingly it wasn't. To get it to make some noise like when I was accelerating in the tunnels, I had to get it to shift into 2nd then apply about 1/2 to 2/3 throttle. Any more than that it would firstly have a good tendency to kick into 1st to get more acceleration or it would simply pick up revs too quickly. Once the revs get high, the engine noise alone is louder than the supercharger. It's a shame it is too quiet. You don't hear much supercharger whine out there. Well here's more what a supercharged Toyota should sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rs2jklMOOs It's a hard toss up isn't it Daryl? I love the whine of my roots charger, but I'd love the efficiency of the TVS. It is certainly a tough choice.
  18. Wow 225L-240L thats bigger than a 44 gallon drum (205lt)...what sub or subs you running? My dad is abit of an audio nut and he's not impressed with my bass. It's 'boomy' as he says. He feels bad for me getting a sub-standard setup so he's helping me out. Will be running 4x12" drivers, need a box where I can physically put 2 side by side (I'll see a 3dB gain for each pair of drivers I have close to each either). 2 on the front of the box and 2 on the top of the box. Bass quantity won't be high but the quality should be very good. Looking to provide 50-60L per driver and the box will be sealed. No ports. Good thing is he already has the drivers and the amp to power it. He's just keeping secret what they are. Will have to buy a better battery though.
  19. Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot, even he himself could not eat it? Wrong section man. I couldn't even tell you what section you would need to go...
  20. Removed both front seats (thank god the airbags didn't go off) and took out my Mono and 4ch amps. Going to tear open the 4ch and see whats wrong with it. Managed to burr one of the bolts that hold the seats down as well, so it looks like no passengers in the front till I get another one . Also removed the subwoofer as well. Measured up my boot for a custom box, but I'm going to lose a poo-load of bootspace. I need approximately 225-240L in this enclosure.
  21. Traction control is easy, it's a switch where the other ones are. - Sports/Normal suspension button - Power/Normal shifting button - Snow/Normal button and tucked away, about 1/3 of the size of the other buttons: - Traction control
