    LOCK UNLOCK

Have the ignition on and on the interior command system go into menu and car settings and all those options are in those tabs. Vehicle settings tab only is accessible when the car is "on" or accessories though.
  2. How many did you manage to get down there Scott in the end? I thought about coming down but i won't be in the state lol. We'd do one up at Symmons but its a pretty boring point and shoot track so doubt we' get much interest.
  3. I guess it depends which model camry your refering too really. lol
  4. lol 3 vehicles in over 19000 built....
  5. This was in early 09 and my car is an 08, so a near new near 50k replacement cost car for a 19 year old was a reasonably expensive little sucker i think you'd agree?
  6. "Sir i have reason to believe this isn’t your car, way too young to have an expensive car like this!" - At first i justify thought he was mucking around but after repeated checks on the system and consultation with his senior officers it appeared that he was dead serious? So after about 10 minutes of checking everything under the sun i finally snapped and said if the car is registered to my name, I’ve shown you various license and business cards that match that name and told you i work for Toyota does that not just mean that bloody car is mine? So hence the “Stolen” tag in my profile name lol
  7. Interesting. I love mine, and think the styling is a 100% improvement on the previous... naturally of course looks like colours are perspective, the new model will grow on people more and more and look less "out there" personally i don’t have any issues with the front it’s just the back that doesn’t quite float my boat but i actually don’t mind the black one on car sales. Not my choice of alloys but shows just like the 40 series the potential is there?
  8. Toyota is its own worst enemy.. i can see many, many dealers going under in the next few years if this trend of screwing each other to the ground continues. Toyota dictates every other facet of how to run your dealership but is to ***** weak to smack dealer’s heads together that bastardise the price of cars like that. Sure give a great deal especially if people are genuinely nice and not ***** clowns but cut the crap out of the price to the point of just doing it for the sake of a number on a board is ridiculous and every week it seems to be getting worse and happening more. Why people seem to think there entitled to buy a vehicle for next to nothing is beyond me you can’t do it with any other product we buy. Half the time you actually feel like an order taker instead of a consultant. Want to do a cartwheel when somebody actually buys the car from you not because you’re were some small pathetic amount cheaper but because you actually knew your sh!t and gave them the best experience not just the lowest bottom figure... OK rant over lol
  9. Not necessary with 50 series. Toyota actually allows you to make these changes and many others through the interior command centre. Now there hidden in vehicle set up and will on appear on the screen if the vehicle is running or on accessories i think it is (one of those things you just do without think these days lol) select set up and a heap of personal settings will appear such as locking and lights etc, simply choice your desired settings one by either turning them off or on. Options include speed dependant locking or as soon as you put the car out of park, same goes with auto unlock you can have it set to unlock when you put it in park or when you stop the engine. Have play see what you can find :)
  10. We had this happen to a customer about 12 months ago. Again owners were away for a week. Little rat made it home in the Valley and went to town. Can’t remember exactly what it chewed but the vehicle was still driveable, But run just like a dog. First clue that rats had been playing was the foam scattered all through the engine bay. Little Pr!cks!
  11. Hey, hey. Bit bored so was cruising around on car sales and came across the new Aurion Sportivo on bigger rims. Black one looks quite nice slightly lowered even with a more basic alloy design. Second one is where what we know as Kappas. http://www.carsales.com.au/demo/details/toyota-aurion-2012-12731817?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=21&page=2&eapi=2&__N=1246+1247+1252+1282+4294962861+4294889509+1216+4294668258+4294739945&num=15&silo=Stock&sort=default http://www.carsales.com.au/demo/details/toyota-aurion-2012-13025118
  12. I have seen this Hilux at the Devonport Motor show last year. Think it was part of the Action Audio display. The bumper had only just been fitted as it overhung as there were no flares on the fenders and was totally different colour. Think it was a 2.7L too not the 4.0 6? Guessing you’re based in Launnie yeah?
  13. The B.S we have to put up with in this place. Don't let facts get in the way of a good story with emotions and misinformation.. http://www.theadvocate.com.au/news/local/news/general/trawler-rally-bigger-than-expected/2631327.aspx

  14. i went direct to peddars and got mine for $1,250ish with cambers kits about a year and half ago now. :)
  15. If you can make the budget fit then coil overs are the way to go for sure!
  16. Lol yeah you'd want to be pretty good at dodging those pot holes. 18's or 19's are really the go, atleast gives you he chance to run 35/40 series rubber. 2 rubberbands width is better than one haha.
  17. You’re not wrong! i just searched high and low for a new Sportivo with wheels but nope narda doesn’t appear to be one for sale done up yet. Will be interesting to see what one looks like a nice set of 18's or 19's. 20's are perhaps just slightly too large especially when not lowered.
  18. hey guys and girls, Just found this Atara SX in Reflex Blue with 20" Advanti alloys so thought i would share it with he group. Needs Lowering but it's not bad at all though! http://www.carsales.com.au/bncis/details/toyota-camry-2012-12412029?base=1216&vertical=Car&eapi=2&Page=8&sort=default&cr=117&__N=1246 1247 1252 1282 4294962861 4294962464 1216 4294676307 4294676304&silo=Stock&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5
  19. That's a little scary that there's still Australians who don't realise Camry's and Aurion's are built right here in Australia and are in fact the "most Australian" cars when you look at local content lol. The accelerator "problem" was found to be a non issue as in EVERY case it was found to be driver error and not that of the Camry. Furthermore though Australians built Camry use a denso supplied part which is designed different to the American Camry. The most prominent issue with 40 series is that of dash rattles which would be fixed by now under warranty (however this was fixed in the factory by 09) some communication issues with Toyota link in the Grande model and that's about as bad as it gets really.
  20. Is there any particular reason you want to change the transmission fluid? The U660E like the majority of modern Toyota/Lexus Transmission are sealed for the life of the car. In fact if you took a quick poll of owners on here the majority of people who have had any issues with the gearbox are those who have touched he fluid... just saying lol.
  21. WOW that Aurion is fully phat and hectic! lol. Damn that is sucky as to hear about getting keyed. Can't have anything nice these days!
  22. I reckon that's just a build up of road grime and dirt? If not get those cracks checked asap.
  23. Thanks guys will try and get the part tomorrow, hopefully someone in Sydney has it on hand Yes i used the brackets that were supplied but i think it is the older stock so i don't know what the deal is there What were u suppose to do if the brackets didn't fit right? CHeers I reckon you would be all kinds of lcuky to find any dealer with one of these on thes shelf. It's not someting that ever break or needs replacing lol. Also now you just use the OEM bush brackets. :)
  24. A for effort lol. Part number your after is 52204-33030 (LH), 52203-33030 (RH), $93.10 stock ex Melbourne warehouse. :)
  25. Did a quick search and couldn’t seem to come up with anything other than it been referenced with a IS350 so has anybody had anything to do with INJEN "cold air intakes" as they now do one for the Camry 3.5 V6 suppose to make a 9HP gain. Doesn’t look to bad compared to the K&N & Fujita systems. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/INJEN-COLD-AIR-INTAKE-TOYOTA-CAMRY-3-5L-V6-2011-SP2033P-POLISHED-9HP-/320930319145?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ab8f00b29
