  1. lol here we go: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php/topic/36695-50-series-camry-hybrid-h-hl/
  2. lol how much power do you actually need? Sounds like it’s time to get some efficient cabinets and tune them properly to their performance specs and get the best out of them? No longer do you need massive power for big sound. Are you running any processors? Oh and turn the bloody sub energy down. You should have a nicet tight punchy bottom end not doof, doof. That was never cool and never will be. Much more to music than bottom end.

    Quick 86 Review

Yeah i agree with you there. love the front and side but the rear spoiler is just a little boy racer and supra for my liking so i would put the TRD "lip" if i can be convinced i can live without a sedan haha

    Quick 86 Review

Aussie spec 86's are the first country to use the alternative Final gear ratio. 4.100 V 3.727. Also aero package GTS's go into production this month. Fun fact about the aero package, The front and rear spoiler is not fitted at the factory for shipping reasons so is actually fitted by your dealerships pre delivery centre which is great if you not the biggest fan of the giant rear spoiler. All the factory and TRD spoilers use the same mounting hardware so you can fit another to the boot with no dramas.
  5. Yeah Spot on it really does depend on which model and drivetrain you go with. Wait will be longer also if you option the aero package up as they only started production this month. Perhaps the biggest variable on how long you will have to wait is the initial allocation. We got a Silver manual GTS, and a Manual blue GT as well as our demo which is a red GT manual. So the guys with pre orders for different colours haven’t got there yet joe blow off the street who was happy with those colours are already driving around in there’s. Fantastic car though. In love with the gearbox and fast pointy steering! - Selling well too!
  6. I have come across a lot of people that haven't heard of it.. How many disappointed people will there be once the ads go to air and they're told yours will be ready in 2014 yes sure the average person looking for a yaris has no idea what it is, They don't really care for cars but even most people walkigng through the dealership looking at totoally different cars are aware that's the new Toyota coupe, "modern day celica isnt it, half made by subaru?" Everybody generally seems to think it's around the 60k mark though. Blows them away when you tell them its 40k D/A!
  7. Yeah no doubt Brembo, Harrop and AP Racing just to name a few will have brake packages for the 86 in no time. Will still be costly but should be easily cheaper than the TRD Accessory option. I'm lead to believe WRX STi brakes will bolt right on the front as well not 100% sure of this but does seem plausible?
  8. WOW just simply WOW.... How could you not of seen or heard of the new 86 coupe. There is a forum dedicated to it on here. Right about the Aurion one.... It's also oe of the most anticipated cars of the last decade. lol
  9. getting plates is all the rage! :) we have snatched GT-86, TRD-86 & GTS-86
  10. O Emm Gee, The gearbox is amazingly orgasmic good! Heel and toeing is so easy and fun! Must stay away from the car. I DO NOT NEED IT! Ahhh i think i just said yes to GTS-86 Plates ;-/
  11. I actually like the look of GTS's aero package, but then as we know these things can take some time to grow on us and I’ve seen the car in the flesh ages ago and staring at pics since so just like how the Aurion Sportivo didn’t shock me when it was launch neither has the GTS aero package because it’s grown on me already. Looks like colours and perspective and as we know there are various other body kit’s available including ones from TRD so no doubt you'll find one that does appeal to you. :) I think the picture here looks a little like a supra thought perhaps? Toyota 86, Built By Passion Not By Committee.
  12. Hey , Nah your pretty right with modern cars, obviously baby it a little bit don’t be tagging the rev limiter and thrashing the ring out of it and avoid staying at a constant speed for any duration but other than that just treat it as you would normally fella.
  13. Lol what are you washing it with? I'd have a blue car again in a heartbeat. i find Caribbean Blue hides the dirt well. Even this time of year it’s not till your standing right next to the car can you see it's dirty at all? Often people at work comment saying i must wash it every few days because it always looks clean and shiny even when it's not. And Swirls? i don’t think there’s any issue with the colour or paint but more so in how you’re doing your washing, drying, polishing and washing lol as no issues here, granted it could be suggested I’m a little fussy ha.
  14. Guys you need to remember Toyota has been refining HSD for more than 30 years. The Electric side of the car is more reliable than the conventional side of the car. There is already several Hybrid camrys with a few hundred thousands kms on them without any issue and there are prius upwards of 800,000kms onboard. It's all sealed for the life of the vehicle. if anything happened you would be one of the very few ever since hybrid was launched and Toyota would be all over as they would love to know more than you what the hell went wrong. So have no fear your hybrid is as bullet proof as any other Toyota. In some ways more so even.
  15. yeah im with you on that one. the Sportivo only half floats my boat in a few certain colours and even then i look at the back and shake my head! I prefer the Presara it atleast looks elegant and semi "Lexus like".
  16. Further more to that there is also a roundish section on the kick panal the goes through to the centre console that pops out so you can run leads and gps chargers down the side and through to the 12v outlet so it looks neater.
  17. I'm not sure where all the sold out talks come from. As I've mentioned we've got a Red GTS auto coming in first up which is unsold. Though we have sold two GT's prior to launch. Also, the GT will still have 16" alloys, not steelies. Your comment was overly defeatist, simply stating that it must be **** because it's cheap. I would expect someone who is a Toyota enthusiast would be nothing but excited about something like the 86. Lucky you guys have manuals coming! Not sure how we got stuck with an auto but if the auto GTS ends up being our demonstrator I'm going to be disappointed!! LSD is standard on everything but the automatic GT. As for waiting periods, it all depends on what stock is available. Depending on your spec, trans and colour choice there may be a car around, but there also may not. As for waiting times, if you submit an order it should usually take 3-4 months for turnaround from the date you order. However, if there is a massive amount of orders going into the system your order could potentially blow out longer. Yeah there was some talk that it looked like our first one was going to be the auto but we have ended up with a bunch of manuals so thats a bit of a score!
  18. We have arriving for our dealerships on Thursday a GT manual in Sonic Blue and a GTS manual in Thunder silver, with a 3rd one a Fuji Red GT manual arriving later in the month which im going to assume is our dealer principals car. KEEENNNN
  19. Beats me. You'll need to do some more digging around. Sometimes you just have to make some enquiries here and there. At the end of the day though, it's just another Aurion. The TRD's are declining in value like any other car and are being picked up by people who don't really care about the rarity of it... hence the minimal information floating around. That's one word for it. I have traded two in the last week and to be completely honest there worth absolutely no more than an equivalent Sportivo. Check out the values for them it's scary when you consider you paid 10k more for them new.
  20. Well you could either look at your rego papers, check the service and warranty manual in your glovebox or log on to your states road and transport site and do a REVS or PPSR check on your vehicle as this will also bring up the information your looking for. :)
  21. Yeah mate the dark colour available is Graphite (1G3) it's actually not a bad colour on prado, Corolla and Kluger but it just doesnt seem to suit the Camry and Aurion for some reason.
  22. Yep Graphite strikes again. This colour just does not suit Aurions body shape in any way shape or form. Sportivo in graphite is hand me a bucket material lol
  23. What colours were these fella's? :)
