yeah it would be way easier and cheaper to sell your camry and buy an Aurion? remembering the chasiss up front of V6 sedan that we know as Aurion is slightly different to the 4 cyl version Camry.

Lol Seems there may not be too many current Aurion owners go for a seconf bite of the cherry then? i personally prefer GSV40 Sportivo but actually prefer GSV50 Prodigy and Presara. must have something to do with the ES350 look about it. yeah the wood grain is ummm yeah.. i dont mind it in Atara SL but its way over kill in Presara. Proidgy largely escapes the wood grain though. has Sportivo center console and armrest withjust the dash done in "wood trim".

Yeah whilst that's true DJ that different dyno's on different days, climates etc will yield a different result but where talking 20kw-30kw here. Sure maybe if he was dynoing in the Sahara desert on 55 degree day but that seems quite low for an Aurion. However you’re right at least the dyno was able to pick up the difference and read consistently. Shame though all it seems to of done to this particular vehicle is reduce power over the actual RPM and speed range we actually normally use and speed we can go. Not much use making more power than stock if it only kicks in way up high and above 130km/h.

Quick random question. Havent most of our dyno'd Aurions been making around 153-158kw at the wheels? with the odd freak in the 160's? lol

I took some pics of the new ZR6 and Prodigy we have down at our PD centre but i cant post them up till i get around to renewing my TOC Support status as you cant upload easily with out it haha. Stand by! :)

Nah the price of two standard sheilds are around the same price as the set of 4 slim line ones. only a few bucks difference. More likely that the pack just has the default "plastics" in it. :)

OKKKKKK so here's my thoughts thus far between Atara and Aurion's interior.. Presara's seats are ok I’d say about the same as 40 series Sportivo in comfort support but defiantly Atara SX and Aurion Sportivo's Leather "Sports buckets" are much better in every way seat colour inserts aside which you love or hate i like them as it breaks the cabin up a little. But overall i much prefer the way Atara's centre console and dash looks. it almost looks as if Toyota has had to find places to make Aurion's look different.. Sportivo's looks a little better as there isn’t the massive strips of faux wood trim on the console and dash (i actually don’t mind the slim strip with the silver capping in Atara SL though) and i like the flared section as it meet the centre console with the shifter is just looks classier over all and more "Lexus like" that the "slab sided" Aurion cockpit although fit and finish and materials are in another league to 40 series. Aurion’s is nice i do like it but i do think Atara's is classier and better looking? However Aurion’s actual dash cluster is really nice tonnes of information and gadgets i do quite like that and it’s very slimier to that of Hybrid Camry but also gains a few extra gizmos.

Lol fella you’re going to feel a little bit silly here BUTTTT they are the genuine SLIM LINE weather shields from Toyota. The ones half the Aurion’s on the road have lol and the ones the vast majority of us on here have:) Toyota sell two different types for both 40 and 50 series Camry and Aurion. You just have the normal functional ones instead of the good looking "mostly useless" ones we have :)

Arghhh really dont say that lol? which ones were you running? the KU38's are meant to be quieter then either KU31 and 19. Might stick with the FK452's yet then!

The KU19's are quite an old tyre now for Kumho. Sucks the don’t make the newer and widely regarded as a better tyre the KU38 in your size (they only make them in 18 &19") I'm currently running FK452's and have a fantastic run out of them, have tonnes of mechanical grip and resistant to aqua planning. i have got great life from them and they have been on a handful of cruises where there put through their paces plenty. All in all i would highly recommend them. i understand the support from Falken to their dealers is nothing short of crap! The tyre shop we use at work therefore i use too as they look after me were both Falken and Kumho and there over Falken. Love the product but hate the support so they favour the Kumhos now so i will probably go with KU38's i think for my next treads.

There was a letter send out to customers; i could even find a copy of it if you like. the TRD one was sent out either that week or the week after i started the thread about the customer service exercise was going now be carried out on TRD as well as TRD's wheel ornament changes. If you are the second owner of any used vehicle i suggest you go to your owner’s manual, fill out the change of owner slip and send it in. Toyota does not know who the second or third owners are. Dealers could I’m sure go through their data to find every vehicle both new and used they have sold that could be affected but a recall or CSE but in reality i think you would find there is very few that would have the time to actually do this. It would take serious man hours. Most dealerships Dealer management systems check the service history with Toyota to see what recalls and CSE's have being completed and what's outstanding on a vehicle. just another reason to service with a good reliable friendly Toyota service centre in your area.

Yeah im much the same. If i was to go with another Aurion i think i would maybe lean towards the Presara instead of ZR6 but like DJKOR i sugguest i will more than likely give GSV50 a miss and either jump in a 4WD (HIilux SR5 or Prado) the new 86 or an IS350 F-Sport.

Aurion will never have bi-Xennon..why? the high and low beams are seperate lamps I believe that radar guided cruise along with the return of LED rear lamps will make a showing in the update. Whoops, sorry Adamsy, my bad! I should've been a bit more clear in what I meant. I meant that there was no mention of DUAL HID head lights, i.e. HID low beams and separate HID highs. Bi-xenons would've meant that both high & lows would be in the same head light, which would mean a radical re-design of the front assemblies etc. Oh my bad haha nahh she’s just the HB3 high beam globes and HID low's. Yeah would need a bit of a rework and to be honest i don’t think anybody would find Aurion's headlamp performance poor? When you have all Fog's lows and high beam especially is you have a few HID's in there i would rate as pretty good?

Yeah that’s her, better picture than the ones i have here too lol! So the layout is the same it’s just the colours and where said colours are put that are different. Also note the green instantaneous fuel consumption bars that run along the side of the average consumption dials.

Oh and just an interesting thing to note as well the dials now only go up 240km/h down from 260! Take that you lawless Arabs haha :)

Its actually the same Optiron combi-meter as the others in the range just has different colours. AT-X, Prodigy and Presara has strips of blue aroudn the inner edge where as Sportivo has a Silver metallic look in the speed indicator needle points (where the numbers are written) but other than that im 99% sure there exactly the same. :) only image i have has crap written all over it.

Err no? these have noticeably more interior space than Gen6, same outside dimensions larger inside ones, length width and height especially in the rear lol.

Yeah you certainly would have to be a lover of the latest toys and gizmos to warrant going to a Presara over a prodigy or ZR6 over the SX6.

Yeah i actually don't mind the way the Sportivo looks but i have been staring at images and seen the real car up close so the initial shock i got has long gone. i am loving the new Presara in Eclipse black though! i wish it had 18" alloys though. Don’t mind the design but just been that bit bigger would really set the car off further.
