  1. -_- and u had to type an essay out... I know how much you love reading my essays, Duy I'm only showing some love here
  2. My bad, just noticed your from Canberra. You might just want to check the Road Traffic Office site for Canberra in that case
  3. Hey Josh, According to Vicroads, you only need around 100mm clearance from the lowest point of your car, which give you heaps of options to play with really. IMO, I'd probably invest more in coilovers rather that just springs tho.. but each to there own I guess. but yeah, if your worried about attracting attention from the cops, then you should probably check out the vicroads site before modding anything. If you do happen to get pulled over, just use the same excuse everyone does, that your about to sell it and it's your last drive before the buyer comes picks it up, they usually let you go after that. But yeah, don't use it too often, if it happens and you get away with it, take it as a warning and fix your sh!t before you get pulled over again. Depending on how low you go as well, you might want to take a look at the offset on your wheels as well. IMO lowering your car can make or break it, you probably want the tire to sit flush (if not, almost flush) with the fenders, not too far in or out. This could mean either a new set of rims (legal) or hub adapters (certainly not legal), but yeah. Australia has probably some of the toughest laws regarding this crap, only because it's a nanny state.. you can blame your Techno listening Muzztech Warriors wearing their poofy bumbags on 95 degree angle driving their mums fully sick VN Bombadores, thinking they own the streets for that. In short, try the vicroads site for more info on ride hide and you should be sweet. Best of luck with it tho, man
  4. lets be honest here though, how many "Automotive Themed" posts do you see in the Lights, Camera... Action section? there's a few, but most of it is just 'hey check out how bizarre/funny/interesting/strange this clip is'
  5. I hope this guy is trolling... otherwise I'd be extremely worried

Typical Nissan driver, he even dresses like one, his always in his GTi-OZ hoody and he even has a belt with the Nissan badge on it.. dirty buggers

  8. Typical Johnny to work under a car like that. Everything that guy does is dangerous, Danger should probably be his middle name
  9. convo with someone at work, "On the internet from this morning I see" my response "Taking laps around the office coz you have nothing to do I see" ...

  10. Quickest Car: My brothers heavily modified Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, the thing is ripping out about 190kw at the wheels, the thing scares the living crap out of me.. Only downside to it is, the turbo is a little too big so the turbo lag is quite substantial. :-/ Funniest Car: A rental Daihatsu Charade we got while we were repairing the family car, I remember going onto a freeway with that thing with four people in it and each of us throwing our bodies around to see if we can make it get to 100, sadly the most it got to was 80.. great laugh tho
  11. it's the same car really? the only differences is the 'facelift' other than that, there is nothing technically different about them?

    Funny Pics

Pretty sure there's a few here I don't really know why people don't bother using the search function, or even scrolling a few threads down even..
  13. Google+ is like Facebook without people and Farmville

      Silver-Aurion

LOL. But at least it will be implemented better. When google does something, they do it right. And at least when Google+ come out with an iphone app it won't be broken like the facebook app has been for the past year.

  15. COMPLIMENT!! I love Bosozoku style haha!! all those threads on StanceNation and StanceWorks about Form > Function Those guys don't have a clue about what that means compared to the Bosozoku cars I've seen.. they're insane.. Trust me, some of those cars look like they just came out of a Voltron cartoon
  16. The Tax man can go eat a big one!! .37 cents for every dollar I make and he still wants more, they'd take my blood if they could, I swear!

  17. there's something about body kits that always make me cringe, to be honest, lowering your car and just leaving be body as is looks just as well. You won't need to worry about scrapping the crap out of your front bar entering ramps and driveways, I used to have a body kit on my 4th gen prelude, worst choice ever! after about 2~3 months it started to flake and bits started to come off it, it's not worth the headache to be honest. I took that crap off, lowered it a bit more and gave it a front lip which I had made for me by clark rubber, still had a good stance about it.. better than some tacky body kit made of fibre glass. But still, if its your thing, I suggest Jetspeed in Sydney, they're not too bad, i've dealt with them here in Melbourne and they do a decent job for a reasonable price, check out their website
  18. I kinda like the trend on Cars tho, not so much of a fan about what the scooter gangs get up to haha! but then again, how intimidating can a 4 foot person throwing threats at you on a small scooter be? haha! jokes.. if they're Yakuza, I'd hate to be on the receiving end of whatever they pull out from under their scooters' seat haha! but yeah, carwise, those flared guards, massive front bars and spoilers and exhaust pipes like snorkles, I think it's insanely awesome for some reason haha! if only it was legal here, I'd love to see a Bosozoku style car on the streets Stewbie, you must love Japan heaps.. my best friends Japanese so I hear all these stories from her too haha! reminds me of the animation Akira, remember watching it as a kid [edit] sorry for going really off topic here, but Tash, your car kinda reminds me of that style.. if you go full Bosozoku style massive kudos to ya! keep it up :-)
  19. it's errr very pink :) looks okay tho.. kinda reminds me of the Bosozoku style you see that's going in Japan at the moment, only a little tho. I don't know whether it's your exhaust tip or the pink but I get a Bosozoku feel about this car haha! it's great for those of you that don't know what Bosozoku is, it actually started as a Japanese motorcycle gang that modified their bike with crazy aesthetic modifications like massive laid back chairs, massive exhaust tips and strange body work.. the trend has been recently touching base with a lot of the cars there too now.. here's an example http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aRklVxJ5L5A/TgrMAQa3HAI/AAAAAAAABVc/pFO79HhfOGw/s1600/bosozoku_39.jpg
  20. My minds in the gutter again, I read the title and had a laugh and said to myself "That's what she said" LOL! But yeah, what Kenshin said, you'd most likely have to look at a jdm from bar for something like that
  21. Spot on Panels near your joint mate. His a mate of my uncles
  22. I don't know.. I remember reading somewhere that Lift doesn't engage, for people that have bad spelling and grammar, you might have to go back to school first You might have to warm it up first, Domes. plus like V-TEC, the VVTL-i only hits on certain revs, I think anything past 6000 rpm should do it, don't worry about working it that far as well, the 2ZZ loves it man Take it easy, Domes

bit of a noob question here, but does your car have a bonnet bulge with the supercharger? did you have to get the hood changed? Just wondering, can't seem to find pics of your car with the hood down, apart from the first few haha!
