I don't get it, are the stock shocks in the stivo really that crap? lol. because i see on the rexnet and ozhonda forums alot of people upgrade their springs without shocks and they seem to work fine.

In the following week i will be purchasing a set of rims for my White 05 Stivo. I have decided that the only colours i want are gunmetal or black and i've narrowed down the list to the following rims. Lenso GTR Lenso Reizen Volk Nova Ozzy RS-GT (Rebadged Arospeed items) Konig Privat Buddy Club P1 Racing II plus Buddy Club P1 SF Now here's the thing, the buddy club cost almost as much as the other rims WITH tyres, balance and fitting etc. and with a decent set of tyres i'll almost have no money left over for other mods i want to do to my car e.g (Koni's, Tints, system, and CAI). However, i do realise that the buddyclubs are in a league of their own compared to the rest of the rims on the list. Hmmmm, decisions decisions. So which one's do you guys like?

im curious as to why the steering wheel shakes aswell, as my old man says he notices it when breaking, however the neighbour(our mechanic) and i dont seem to notice anything?

I went to JDMYard and they said that the 5Zigen LAX touring catback would fit the stivo...they quoted me $1050 for it aswell, much less than the $1.6 for the TRD one

You get what you pay for.

most of the ones that 5zigen make are for the sedan and the wagon (fielder), which is a different length to the hatches. and the ones that are made for JDMs are poking out the wrong side of the car. You saying poking out the wrong side is a bad thing? :P

Yes i heard that buzz, and i LOVE IT. thats exactly what i wanted on my car. sadly no buzz We'll c what happens with a catback. I must give credit to westside mufflers though, they did an awesome job.

And are you happy with the results. Ie Sound, Looks and performance??? Post some clips when you get a chance. Well right now its only a diff back, but i think im gonna go back to westside nextweek to get a full stainless catback installed. The muffler itself is perfect for anyone who wants minimal noise when cruising, and a nice (not too deep) tone when accelerating (and in left sounds awesome). There are however drawbacks, such as cabin drone when going uphills and stepping off the throttle. Too give you an idea, it sounds pretty much like a stock stivo exhaust just louder. Performance wise i didn't notice a drop in performance, and that about all i can hope for now with a diff back. I'll get back to you when the full catback is installed.

Man, love it how people cry about stereotypes in Australia. I'd love for them to move to the UK or US, or to a lesser extent France (but much more than Aus).
