Even though the two are completely different car i believe it would be Even stevens. A Sportivo on a good day can pull 0-100 in low 7's and im guessing the XR6 would be about the same. In my opinion, i believe it would be a drivers race. however dont expect to win if theres any ingear drags...the torque from those 6's are relatively high.
Ahhhh wouldn't it be great if there was a tuning shop which had 2 of the exact same dyno's which could be used simultaneously. Hmmm me thinks this shop would get a bit of business to settle some old myths and disputes. This is giving me ideas :P
Yes the laws are great. But im pretty confident they havent elimated p-platers thrashing any cars they get their hands on. There are plenty of quick vehicles out there accesible to new drivers, i.e Stivo. I would know...i drive one ;)
^^ It's the price per rim. Although that rim on the left of the Bronze RJR circuit does look rather pricey per rim! 18" for 732 and 19" for 1392 :o!!!!
Haven't really thought about it. Might rock up to one soon and see what its like :P where do u live joe? are you far from villawood? (sorry about thinking u were a chick, u see i have a friend and her name is strawberry.) Lol it's all good. I live in the shire but i used to live in the campbelltown area 3 years ago.
Apparently my name has female connotations because people keep sending me DAMN pm's thinking im a girl!? No Im not a girl. lol Im 17/male/from Syd ;) and the names Joe...
Clio sports are exceptional handling cars. Really good fun chuckable cars and with the iminent release of the New Clio sport im sure things will only get better. They even have a rear diffuser :o...thats crazy. They have torque all over the place and i think the good one is 0-100 in 6.9 seconds which is pretty darn quick. The ultimate hot hatch though has to be the clio v6...that thing is an absolute animal. People discounting the Sportivo as a hot hatch is mainly due to the bad press it has gotten from motor/wheels mag. Is it our fault they never reached lift? :o.
Apparently I am. I just returned from my tuner and payed an advance on them. They should arrive this week, piper had them on stock en somewhere next week they will be installed. Pretty nervous about it since it is the first 'real' engine mod I'm gooing through with. Do not scream about dyno numbers, I do not have a baserun and even after the mod I will not promptly have them perform a run. Since I have no way of tuning anything and piper built them for the stock ECU I do not see the use of dynoing it. I do will test the 0-60 and the 400 times with my G-tech wich I'm verry used to and that should give me a verry accurate view of the actual gains in speed and acceleration. Sounds good man! Keep us posted on how it goes! It would be good to see some pictures of the installation too!
