The main thing is they fixed it at the end for free which is good..... :) Did you have to do much running around or did they fix it without complaining... id be pretty annoyed as well if that happen to me..

I agree. Last year I inquired about a remote (single button) for my 99 Camry, and was quoted $65 for remote and $75 to program by Service Dept. This would take about 90 Min's to do and would require booking the car in. Went down to my local Auto Electrician, $52.50 for the remote and programing, less then 20 secs. If you have the car manual, you can DIY. First and last time visit to Sydney City Toyota at Waterloo. They do have a really nice show room, Gotta give them credit for that :)

You cant really seek for compensation, An accident is pretty much an Accident.. You can complain to the insurer and take the car back to the bodyshop and get them to fix it or even replace the part with new one until it meets your satisfied. :)

Thats true, its pretty much clips, there must have been severe damage under the bonnet hence the reason the car is a Total Write Off... Theres no ways thats 85% of damage. The OPs must be with a good Insurance Company :D
