I havent heard of the braking thingy with Cruise control either. I know the Rav might have a down hill assist function but not sure how that works.
  3. Even the grill is smiling in that pic :D
  4. Its getting tempting, i wouldnt mind putting these on the spare AE112 corolla but ill might have to change the tyres so it meets the RTA specs. :g:

  11. he most certainly does, (depending on the amount of water) Leaving the High beam on for a couple of minutes or even leaving it in the sun usually dries it up. Or even leaving it in direct sunlight...
  12. 'Taltosss' and anyone else having this noise at the startup should get the car checked out... I have got my car looked at, as I have mentioned in the last post to this forum - I have had pistons replaced, piston rings, vvti cam gears - and today - timing chain, tensioners and guides all replaced... engine was dropped out... now the noise isnt there but will be checking in the morning as it is most prominent in the mornings on cold starts. Another noise that is annoying the sh!t out of me when I pull up to reverse in the driveway, as I put it in reverse I get this clicking noise... i think it could be the brake calipers engaging and then dis-engaging, anyways I am going to take it back and find out wtf is going with that..... Safe driving to all - hint: try not to go off at the dealers.. this was a pretty hard problem for the engineer guys to diagnose if they can't hear the noise, which was my case for last 12 months almost... Hopefully this would have fixed the noise issue. good luck :)
  13. Welcome to the club. With the trip meter give it a few days as see if it gets closer to the 11/12L/100 km mark. If not then you may need to take it to the Service Centre
  14. You can also try that Toyota Air Con Service they do at the Service department, not sure if that will make any difference on the smell. It usually cost around $100.
  15. the correct fit for 17X 6.5 and 17X7 inch wheels on the corolla is 205/45/17s 215/50 will fit but depending on the cop you can get defected as diameter will exceed the overall recommended size.
  16. If its the Toyota New car or Extended bumper to bumper warranty then it should be fine. If its those Dealer Mechanical Extended warranty where you can only get the vehicle serviced at the dealer you purchased it from then it may impact the warranty....
