  1. sorry 2 dig this thread up from the dead again... but i just love the creativity that comes out of some of your avs + sigs!
  2. I MISS THE SEARCH BUTTON GIRL! BOO DAWSON! BOO!
  3. owww.. i was expecting video of the incident! but yea glad you kept your ***** out of there.
  4. i always intended on buying that exact type of frontbar anyway! i even started a thread about it long ago (before tom put his up 4 sale) :P (sorry 2 hijack this thread):P anyway.. you can check either xracing or carmate and compare prices.. go with either of em but just expect that some work might need to be done to them for a perfect fit! EDIT: just wondering if anyone in sydneys west can recommend a decent place to get fibreglass work done on your car that wont chrge an arm and a leg?
  5. speaking of which, i was at church last sunday and saw a dark blue prefacelift rolla on chromies with that front bar installed! wasnt too impressed... didnt look like a great fit, nothing but holes where the foggies should be and to top it off.. the paint didnt match. gotta be extra careful of that when i get my frontbar done.
  6. im considering going 2 xracing to get my carmate frontbar installed.... ever since i saw the x-customs page in their website last year, im pretty sure they can get it to fit right. dont think it would be cheap though.. they said somewhere to think about the quality of the work and dont compare price. but yea merrylands is a bit too far for my liking, theres another place in arndell park that might be able to help me.. although it looks like they do more holden/fords than anything else. check carmate as well since you are after bodykit stuff.. theres gotta be a decent body shop up @ your end.
  7. very much reminds me of "one armed boxer vs. flying guillotine". imagine this as the original ufc lol Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!the yoga master doesnt look quite indian to me... but you can imagine that this guy might have inspired the charactor of dhalsim from streetfighter :P
  8. thanks for the info guys! i was going to spend $12.95 on a pack of drill bits that included a couple of the * screwdrivers, but my hardware store had a couple * security screwdrivers (as they call em) collecting dust on a hanger on the wall for just $5.50. they were cool enough to let me take the screwdriver out of the shop to see if they fit, and i found a good fit!! BARGAIN! if im not playing no limit poker at the carousel in plumpton tonight ( and every thursday night! 6.30 registration, 7pm start... $20 buy in - ALL INVITED!), ima put the wires through on this so i can finally be done with the drivers side and start working on the passenger side. I AM VERY EXCITE! HI 5!
  9. btw i had a look at the drivers side bracket... no moisture damage visable..? might actually take the speaker bracket out for a closer look next time
  10. has anyone actually opened up the mirrors completely before? i cant seem to take the mirror part off... also, it seem the * shaped screws are in pretty tight.. might have something to do with the spring looking mechanism inside.. im kinda worried about ruining the mirror or the motorised bits so any help from someone with experience wiring up side indicators into the mirrors your help is much appreciated
  11. hey guys ive been driving round with the indicator installled but the wiring hasnt been laid down correctly. ive been trying to open up my side mirror to run the wire through without success. there are 3 screws on the bottom of the mirror that look like they require an " * " shaped screwdriver. is there any other way of getting the wires through the mirror without having to unscrew those 3 screws? HELP! i wanna get this fixed sooner than later so i can start on the other side.
  12. King Springs 35mm Drop Front King Springs Super Low Springs Rear Koni Sport Adjustable Struts Front Koni Sport Adjustable Struts Rear yea if i had a sportivo id do exactly that.. but i recall sb using superlows up the rear and lows in the front to make the car level. not sure if this is the same issue with a conquest, levin or ascent.
  13. would be nice if you can find a bra that would match your car. i guess you can always spray paint it..
  14. gday, ive never had enough dosh to do my suspension in my 1zz.. but when i eventually do, it would be whatever silverbullet put on his sportivo... check that car (and many others) in the members rides section. jase.
  15. tayles wat u mean? i personally dont mind having the new gen corolla owners in there... dont need to be 2 technical... but if there is something that non-car types dont understand, then they could always go 2 the technical dictionary/glossary section (which wouldnt be in existance if i didnt suggest having a glossary in the first place muahahahaha!) but seriously its been useful to me and it looks like people are using it, so y not just refer people to the glossary section if they need to understand something.
  16. i love the rim combo on the other car lol!
  17. check the c-one website... my guess is they might because the new auris has been in japan for a while now.. but if they dont have one, they would surely make one soon! nextmod would be able to import it.
  18. id contact toyota to ask how much it would cost to install those components you so desparately want and compare the price based on the total price difference you get for trading up to it. but you should really be content with what you got.. its not good 2 always think about what the other person has or focus on what you dont have. so you should be really think about yourself and not your car. lol im doctor phil now... ive gone through similar issues with me wanting to get a sportivo after finding out there WAS a difference between the conquest engine and the sportivo 1. but yea make the most of what youve got.. or if you got the money and dont want to change the way you think about things, then trade up.
  19. damn... i cant believe i actually got spotted. i guess there is a couple of sportivo owners here in woodcroft might have to catch up with you guys in the next meet. and get some ideas for my car Hi seitlich/TH3ORY.. i've seen your car few times around woodcroft, and also near my mates house at woodcroft near the lake... think your mates lives there too, as i seen your car parked.. not sure if you've seen, but i got a white one... see you round... spotted TH30RY at woodstock ave/rooty hill rd north traffic lights earlier.. 20/1/08 around 12-1ish?
  20. rep points system would be nice... but would be great (if it were possible) for members to rate eachother based on what they contribute to help others in the forum.. but now that i think about it, that might be a bit too complicated.
  21. ill keep a look out for you... if you can check www.yellowpages.com.au, you can find car parts stores that specialise in toyotas. maybe if you contacted one, they might be able to help you.
  22. he was in the telegraph again today.. featured a school pic of him when he was younger, along with his parents issuing an open letter to the public apparently saying reality of what he has done has hit him hard... and that it could have been anyones kid that could have done this. now ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FEEL SORRY FOR THIS GUY NOW? foolish and stupid - glad hes been put up as a bad example for everyone to look down on.
  23. yes that one ! :D have bin looking a longe time for this part :D i don`t now where i can find this in Australia becaus that`s not my continent :P your local toyota parts dealer should be able to import them from japan. have you tried a toyota dealer?
  24. do you mean the part that looks like the tail lights but is actually part of the hatch door? interesting... i have to see what i can find.
  25. try ebay.com.au or ozeparts.com.au i think ozeparts have what u are looking for. part number (left side)TA48000NJL-1235. part number (right) TA48000NJR-1235. you buy the left and the right tail lights separately. just search for toyota corolla 1994- onwards and there is a full list of parts available for you. contact them or order it from their website.
