  4. That rollback would have done your driveshafts a whole lot of good...
  5. Just drive it normally. Varied driving is good for a new engine. Don't abuse it, and don't baby it either.
  6. Glad you're happy with the outcome! Nice review ;)
  7. From memory there was a stockish Black one from the forum here that lived in that area... I can't remember who!
  8. Funny! Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  9. That's the most chilling part of the add for me, she's face to face with him while he dies and then she's stuck there.
  10. What are they asking for the Sportivo? What year is it?

Very Nice Pete I like! :-)
  12. Which is more than the price of a CAI at around $400 ! Just what exactly did you do when you 'blueprinted' your airbox?
  13. You can give it all the bogan jokes you want but I'd gladly take it.
  14. It's not really louder, just a deeper note than standard. Some Jap system with a silencer on it will only drone. <_<
  15. I really like this commercial.... And I really like the new SSV ute! Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  16. I'm no expert but the way I understand it is, most new cars are tuned slightly rich from factory as a protective measure. With the work you did to the intake, you've made an improvement to the airflow, and therefore efficency of the engine, so that explains your lower consumption. To my understanding, you wont have to worry the engine leaning out, because the MAF will detect the volume/velocity/density of the incoming air and adjust fuel and spark accordingly.
  17. Black_Jet has them, you can ask his opinion.
  18. I can't really tell from the pics. Did some of the IS200's have a 2jz conversion? I would love to own something like that.
  19. Well done on the awards boys :)
  20. I'm quite disappointed Bill washed his car, quite poor form really, no-one got to see what the car usually looks like :P Nice Pics, looks like it was a good show!
  21. A bit graphic but hammers the point home Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!

  23. Supermario!!! Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!Quote from poster... "This is a solid-state Tesla coil. The primary runs at its resonant frequency in the 41 KHz range, and is modulated from the control unit in order to generate the tones you hear. So just to explain a little further, yes, it is the actual high voltage sparks that are making the noise. Every cycle of the music is a burst of sparks at 41 KHz, triggered by digital circuitry at the end of a "long" piece of fiber optics. What's not immediately obvious in this video is how loud this is. Many people were covering their ears, dogs were barking. In the sections where the crowd is cheering and the coils is starting and stopping, you can hear the the crowd is drowned out by the coil when it's firing. This Tesla coil was built and is owned by Steve Ward. Steve is a EE student at U of I Urbana-Champaign. He and Jeff have been going to Teslathons, which is where they met. It's been suggested that a good name for this coil would be the "Zeusaphone". "Thoremin" has also been mentioned, though personally I think we need Theramin type inputs for that. To answer a few questions I've received, YES, someone did yell "Play Freebird!" after the first round of music."
