Thats because if the did it on a proper race track everyone will be hunting to beat the stigs time he is suppose to be the best! But doing on a track that no one will ever drive on...no one can see how good or how bad the stig is. True in a sense, well they really SHOULD rearrange the track really... i dont think the track is long or wide enough for the cars to stretch their legs...!

I was thinking they should do a hmm.... a dune race special on Fraser Island with Landcruisers, Land Rovers, Porshe Caynne, VW Toraq or watever? but then i think the fun police will spoil the fun...

I dont like the track... its too narrow... wish they rent a proper track, doesnt have to be in the airport like the UK version mate... i dont get some of the jokes too, as i guess ive gotten use to the witty uk jokes for the past 9 season... and i dont think they going to rev and race the car on public roads like they did on the Isle of Manns segment either...

I had a look online and was thinking probably is the same model and size for the Avalon? Because the pdf oil filter change i attached is based on the same engine model number from a US website...

I would say the car would probably max out at about 250-260-ish... but probably not achievable due to less aerodynamically slippery than the TRD Aurion... I wouldnt wanna try that in a Prodigy model, a sx6/zr6 is a better non trd model to try it on...

Engine should be alright as long they change the oil regularly...!

I got a bunch of these for my Yaris doors... Jay Car bitumen base sound deadener and also got this from Supercheap... Septone Brushcote Body Deadener 4L I did this on my Yaris on the doors only... and it really cut out more than 60% of the noise from outside, you can tell the difference because Yaris got thinner metal than Aurion... However it was a messy job having to take apart the doors and the bitumen fumes that gives you a high... ;)

You want to DIY for to lower the cost... DJKOR did his interior, so he would know the true cost of the deadening... Dynamat would cost about 300 bucks for 2 doors from my recollection... If i were to do it, I would probably grab a tub of 5L bitumen paint, thick aluminium foil and DIY with all the seats out and the doors too... You can get non Dynamat mat from Jaycar costing about 20-30 bucks per sheet and each sheet covers about 3/4 of a door, just as good... coz i have it on my Yaris... (which I did the doors but not the floor... Cheers

Well if i have previously mentioned, I did the Yaris oil change as well... and looking to do the Aurion, yes since I cant seem to get the right advise or pointers for this one so I'm gonna have to just as one of the toyota dealers while getting a filter from them... Tools wise, if they are readily available if not they arent too expensive to get... I guess i will have a crack at it next weekend...

^ Watever rolla boi if you dont have anything constructive to say then you better just keep your 'crap' comment to yourself... There is no harm to make sure everything is all sweet and have the necessary tools before diving head in and probably end up doing the wrong thing... A rolla is exactly like a Yaris with their simple oil change, to me its different from the Aurion even though to you make be relatively simple...

I had a chat with the Supercheap bloke and that he said Ryco havent made the aftermarket filters for Aurion, so gonna have to buy a couple from Toyota Parts...

I like mine nice and bright...! I got no problem with it watsoever...! lol Yes it can be dim... however the 'opitron' gauge is only available from the sx6, zr6, prodigy, presara and trd models... but sure of touring have the same gauge... cheers
