Tried that E10 stuff when it 1st came out... actually tried 3 tanks... savings vs mileage loss is not worth it, mine is a Yaris and it was well abit more sluggish and its a manual and worst of all I actually got lower mileage per tank than the normal 91 or 95 juice... based on my experience I wont put those into the tank unless its 15 cent difference over the regular juice...

Any chance of using the 'hair' dryer treatment? Just take of the bulbs, remove the seals and apply hot and get rid of the excess moisture? Now I may sound like a noob over this... but just a thought... Cheers

I wonder if anyone gets that 'electronic' weezzzzz when the aircon is on? Its noticeable when the aircon or fan is on and u turn the music off... Cheers

Well... my auctioned Aurion came with 2 master key with remotes (no spares), been thinking whether its viable to for piece of mind sake get another set of remote and master key for the Aurion. Not sure if you can buy a master key from ebay or local key shop and program it yourself as per above instruction? Cheers

Bah... I had the same issues too... Instead my steering was shaking on the freeway so need to get aligment and front tyre balancing done... that got rid of the problem... now I also have that 'steering towards the left' on the freeway... i was thinking its a fault, but unless Toyota does a recall I cant see myself going to another dealer trying to get them fixing the problem... Cheers

Woah... Sorry to hear about the Aurion... but at the same time thank *** I didnt encounter one during my drive back from Syd to Brisbane... I was doing mostly 120km/hr so the impact might even be bigger...

Well I dont have a 'Silver' member pass so I couldnt see some of the sections hence not much reply, I did look at the Yaris and replied there but rather quiet compared to ofcoz the Corollas... And yes I use to turn up at Milton in your 'Rollas meet with the Yaris gang... Just an idea that the Aurion mod would also yes need to contribute to other sections but a mod with interest in modding the section with particular attention to the needs of the section would be nice...

I've read the 'Wheels' mag and their real life figure is about 8.6L/100km combined... So in order for the Yaris to achieve the 6.8L/100km, I imagine that car would be sitting at 80km/hr for the car to rev about 2100rpm (sweet spot)... and normal city driving etc... I've managed to bring the fuel consumption down to about 7.1-8.7L/100km (without aircon and with aircon on respectively), but I do bucket loads of highway driving sitting about 100km/hr +- 10% speed... 120km return trip weekdays... Fuel wise, I always use Shell V Power (98 Ron stuff) coz it gives me the most mileage due to the distance I travel to and from work, E10 while cheaper uses more fuel than the normal unleaded blend, I've tried 2 full tanks of it and didnt like having to refuel before Tuesday!!! I do agree we should have a 'independent' Aurion section even though Aurion supposed to supersede Avalon, they dont resemble and Aurion is all new car with Camry DNA but comes with a big fat efficient 3.5L V6... Perhasp someone who is a regular in the section be nominated as the sole Mod for now? Or at least have a trial period to see if it works out... Cheers

I heard the Milton area was swamped by men in blue on Thursday night... Anyway anyone know a good detailing or body spraying specialist in the southside...?? Some F**kwit key marked my car.... (the fellow with a shadow blue metallic Yaris) all the way to the primer ... looking on forums on how to fix it... looks alot of hard work involved... but looking at splashing the cash to get it done professionally... Any help from you guys??? Cheers <_<
