  10. i have a question for everyone out there,, if i want to replace my exhisting i guess you'd call it exhaust pipe,, the bit on the end, and change it to a cannon, what size inlet would i need ?? :) its for a stivo sorry in advance for my stupidness.. cheers

  12. hey guys.. i know we have all gone through this a million times but i was yet to experience the pain that some of you,, or all of you have gone through.. at 15,000km i can honestly say my stivo is driving like ****!!!! i have done no modifications as of yet bar putting a sound system in.. problems i am facing: 1. start with the infamous gear selector cable.. yeah,,, hmmmm 2. my car is now wanting to not drive in the middle of the road, ( i do tyre pressure pretty much every week,, and there all the same... ) y is it moving to the left.. :( 3. sitting inside the car with no music on or anything just driving along,, the inside cabin is so so so loud,, the rear hatch i believe may have something to do with that. :( 4. further more only today i notice that when i turn a right corner it feels as if my front left shock has died,, it feels like the whole chasis is bending over the wheel.. (tough to understand) ok now i ask for your help... since the 20,000km is coming up can you advise me on what i should be asking to get done, cost is now not an issue i just want my car to drive like car,, and later on like a rocket.. please help..... any assistance will be better than none.. :D

  18. gentlemen of the jury,, the great working team from southside toyota placed new modified cables in my car at the 5000km service, did it fix the problem NO... they then proceeded to put new cable in at the 10,000km service,, and yet again didn't fix the problem wow these guys are working so hard to fix the problem.. <_< but what i have heard is that toyota in South Africa are finally getting around to a final fix and resoloution for this problem,, when it will be finalised i don't know but within this year is what i have been told... i used to live in Africa believe it or not... Turn the music up and try to ignore the noises for now.. cheers greg
  19. hows it going,, just trying to work out what we have reached to be the end result in this discussion,, are we saying don't mess around with the exhaust piping,, instead if you want some broom broom noises,, (which is always good) just change the tail pipe... ?? thinking about chaning the stock sports muffler bit, to a cannon pipe just like everyone else,, but with all this talk about noise problem,, now i don't know what size cannon i should get if any all advice would be welcome in this situation cheers guys greg QLD stivo owner
