  9. Brisbanites. A new and exciting shop has now recently been opened. some of you may know Jarrod, my mate in the Hilux or the electrician. He has just informed me that he has a mate who has just opened a car audio and performance shop on Foley Road, at Hemmant. They will do just about everythign from carbon fibering, to vinyl's for cars to dyno tuning, engine transplants, complete audio system, just ask them and they will be more than willing to help out.. if you go to the actuall shop you may think it is dodgey as it is down the back of a private property but i can assure you that it is not dodge at all.. they are just starting up and wanting to move up slowly, the two owners Matt and Mick have both had previous experience in the automotive industry and Mick has extensive knowledge in regards to ECU remaping and adding piggy back systems.. Jarrod has assured me of there work, he is within the next few weeks getting a 2 inch lift on his hilux and has asked me to give them a plug.. he has also said that the guys at elysium are wanting cars to work on so they will be offering some really great deals, just drop in or give them a call and they'll get you the best price they can Matt: 0409 505 791 Mick: 0409 476 461 2/35 Foley Road, Hemmant 4174 No internet site as of yet...
  10. gear selectors, gear knob, ecu, air filter, were all apart of the recall issue, there was a toyota letter sent out to your local dealer.. you just had to ask for it.. (pre facelift) cars that were sold after this date were fitted and corrected.. omn1potent: please note in my above post it states "You just had to ask for it"
  11. welcome, enjoy your stay and have fun
  12. the recall has been done on all cars that have been re-released, or sold within the last, i would say 6-9 months
  13. is there anyone out there that will sell?? i already have a set but many of the brisbanian corolla crew would like a set of eyelids so if there is a group buy or anyone has a lazy set lying around please let me know CHeers
  14. Firstly before everyone gets up you... PLEASE SEARCH.. Yes there was a problem, yes it has been fixed 1. check the inside of your drivers side door, near the hindge look for a silver sticker if it is there its been done.. 2. secondly if it continues to annoy you got to your service centre and ask for the gear selector and gear knob kit and ask them to fit it 3. also ask them to fix your master cylinder in your clutch while your at it...

  18. might be wrong about the bit of plastic,, it may have something to do with the seels in the door or something to do with the air conditioning as i have had the whistle and so has kyle and we both have CAI'S
  19. Does it sound like someone whistling at a really high pitch, like the rally cars do. a member from brisbane has the same problem.. dont think it is a serious problem
