    2007 Camry

Was introduction of stability control and traction control on the Altise model..
  2. There is no difference in the fuel economy between the 2wd and the AWD. I would go for the 2wd if it suits your budget better.
  3. The only changes to the interior will be slightly different surrounds around the gear shift lever, different cd player and the 50:50 split in the very back seat. Otherwise it will be same same.
  4. Haha, nicely done PhilG. Here's the proof: Kluger Nudge Lexus RX Nudge
  5. Understand points and agree with those being made. The "sequential" in Toyota's is not like others I've driven. My old man has an F6 Typhoon with a ZF 6 speed auto in it and it is streets ahead of Toyota's ones. In the Toyota, if you leave it in first and flog it, it will still change into second/third etc whereas with the ZF6, you leave it in first and it stays in first - it's your fault if you forget and blow the trans! I wouldn't bother shifting any Toyota auto manually, maybe the Aurion but I've found that even shifting it in a sports manner, you're probably not improving the performance of the car any more than you'd get by just leaving it in drive.

Who would be stupid enough to leave their GT-R sitting alone somewhere for that long anyway? But yes, it certainly looks painful!!!
  7. Anyone see any similarities to the 2011 Ford Explorer?
  8. See your point but as silly as it sounds, they are probably delivering the cars which are easier to get out of the holding yard. And to explain the waiting for transport bit, it's probably true, sitting at Altona or wherever for over a month given Toyota have been waiting for the release date etc. The nudge bar is interesting.. it's very Lexus, if you look at the nudge bar you can get for the current RX series.
  9. Angelina; the difference in the drive between the two is very noticable, however if you are just doing city driving I wouldn't say it would be much of a problem. The retail starting price for a Grande 2WD is $60,990 plus on road costs. I would say you'd get it on the road for somewhere between 63-65k. I can help with pricing if you are keen at some stage :-)
  10. The pick up date is calculated as 5 days after the true dealer estimated arrival date. It's not based on anything else really, just to make the customer happy. So theoretically if it is being prepared for transport, it will arrive at the dealership within the next 24 hours and you should be in the car soon depending on what accessories you want!
  11. Believe me, it's worth the wait once you get it. I've just been given the Altitude as my new car for the next few months! I'm excited as all hell! Always wanted a Kluger!

  13. I don't have KX-S here, and I'm not sure if I'm getting one quickly. Have you had a look at the Altitude? Or that matter, any other Toyota's? It will be the same 6CD including the colour screen and usb input that most other Toyotas have in them now (bar the base models.)
  14. The side skirts/bumper non-colour coding is a bit funny, I'm sure it will grow on me but it stands out like dogs balls on the Crystal Pearl one. The front looks very American, but I think it will grow on me. Better looking alloys than the last KXR... Grande's new woodgrain is a lot better looking I reckon. Overall a nice little face lift!
  15. Got some photos here. Excuse how dirty the cars are, they have only just arrived. Start with Grande in Graphite;
  16. Toyota sales person here in Victoria. If you're interested in a 200 series I'm your man. I've got 3 60th Anniversary Turbo Diesels in stock at the moment!
  17. Electric seats will not be an omission. Would be very silly. Expect KX-S and Grande to maintain these. If they were changing, they would have been in the summary I posted above.
  18. I can't imagine that being 100% the truth. If a safety item like front airbags were potentially being prevented from working properly by a genuine accessory, there would have been a massive recall on them. Not ever would you hear "Well, we think it potentially will stop your airbags from going off, but we're not sure. The only way to know is to drive into something fast and hard and see what happens." from Toyota. Especially after the accelerator/floormat problems in the states!!
  19. Other than the normal cosmetic stuff changes include: Exterior mirror puddle lamps New 19" Alloys for Grande Grande adopts 3.5mm AUX input No mention of USB input Third row seat 50/50 splitfold Roof Rails - chrome finish Perforation on leather seats in Grande Revised woodgrain Woodgrain surround for rear climate control KXS.. New audio unit with colour screen, found in most other Toyotas now days Third row split seat Chrome roof rails perforated leather KXR.. 17" alloy redesign Cd player adopts usb and 3.5mm Rear spoiler added from KXS/Grande
  20. Thanks for the clear up. Can see how that happened, but hey, there is in all seriousness a sexy 'stance' to a vehicle despite whatits wheels are doing :D
  21. One of my old cars on M1 in Queensland One of my old Fords at Station Pier in St Kilda
  22. Is that AWD or 4x2? And what do you mean by FBT value?
