  1. i heard the n1 is loud and lose power. i have tried trd wagolis on my sedan and it sounds good plus it was bolt on specific for nze121. no issue with back pressure. both remus and trd are about $700-$800 but you can buy knowing they are designed to high standards. i have not driven a car fitted with ces exhaust. but the first time i saw one was last month on e-gene's car. e-gene took off and it sounded quite nice. a moment later was a dc5r with mugen exhaust and that was on a totally different level.
  2. can you show us a photo of your car? i have wondered how ganador style mirrors would look on the corolla. never knew they were available for this car until now.
  3. not seeing the sale but looks like that was fob japan. additional things you need to pay for is international shipping, landing costs such as tax and duty, transportation or storage and compliance. it all adds up if you want to put it on the road. i have thought about importing a car since if you own it for 1 year overseas you can import it as a personal import. but unless i get a dirt cheap car or a prestige car i could not see it being worth it. have a look at customs web site to find information on how to import vehicles they have different schemes and application
  4. why so early? i always cruise from 9 pm onwards! no i will not be coming seeing as i am not in the country.
  5. here are the c-one eyelids slighty different to the one above
  6. the magnaflow may flow better but be careful about the back pressure
  7. some people force bend the pipe down. otherwise remove the bolt connected to the pipe and move it underneath and then tighten the bolt. use some imagination and you will get it to work. from memory the washers need to be about 3mm thick to give enough clearance. bunnings can get washers. sometimes the loose washers they have in zinc finish is thick, sometimes the stock is thin. try to find the thicker ones and you probably need to combine 2 washers together to get the clearance needed. by the way c-one provides the washers. cusco have the washers welded onto the bottom of the bar ends. trd have them too.
  8. i saw these on ebay. after meeting RME1 last month and seeing his racing nuts i asked him where he got them from and he said ebay so i jumped on and searched. i found a seller with zenki and lucky i asked RME1 if this was the brand he got and he said no, so i did not buy them. now i read that you are using zenki and this happens to the product. saw them for $40-$50 per set. i have never really liked rays duranium nuts because of the closed end. i like the sportier type with the open end so when i saw RME1 i knew i wanted them just like c-one or weds. if you are going to change to rays get onto ebay for them there are heaps and around $150 per set for long and cheaper for short type.
  9. a few out on the auction and want the contact you catch them on a storewide sale can order them in with 20% off.
  10. can you buy new ones? wondering what brand they are since they faded and how long have you had them?
  11. playing around with photoshop came up with this. i have yet to get anything done to the cover. still thinking on what colour to have it sand sprayed. was thinking red and be like a honda cover but now having second thoughts on that.
  12. that sedan is in hong kong. the bodykit is from topline japan. i have not seen that bodykit outside japan until i saw that sedan and if you can afford it one good thing is that it has never been copied. the bodykit is available on yahoo japan auctions but you need to go through an auction broker to get it as the seller does not ship internationally.
  13. real ones are advan avs model 5 but copied by most cheaper factories
  14. i saw the private operators using the corolla wagon seems like an unsual model of car to use. usually can spot them as they park so straight on the nature strip and have extra dark tint on the back windows.
  15. sa90 is not super light weight but for what it is a cast wheel is available made forged but you should check they take care for you.
