  1. tayles drawing is like this real one
  2. here is that meguiars product. i also use autoglym when i have it around which works very well such as bumpercare, vinyl&rubbercare
  3. cannot remember the name of the meguiars product but it comes in a transparent red spray bottle and is for interior/exterior. if you want a high shine try armourall but for interior i never use armourall because it is too shiny. mix products and experiment with household cleaners.
  4. thanks for the responses! last week a toyota guy looked at it and sprayed something onto that part and now it looks new again :)
  5. thanks! that photo was from 2 years ago and it has since been replaced.
  6. i clean my engine bay with a soapy towel about once a year. sometimes after wiping it down i apply vinyl/rubber shine. i may use autoglym or meguiars or any household products that cleans things.
  7. the shop is not in your area but from what i heard they do rolling good. good luck
  8. strange why they stopped production. i asked someone about it and they do not know why. they offered the c-one flywheel 4.5 kg for $600 delivered if you are interested in it. but look around you may find it cheaper. i do not think anyone here uses the c-one flywheel most people went toms back when it was available and after some went with fidanza.
  9. the address Suspension Centre The Pty Ltd Unit 2/ 11 Malcolm Crt Kealba 3021
  10. they stopped making it? it was a popular choice of flywheel for the 2zz. i will check later today and see if i can get any.
  11. suspension centre in sunshine. they did 2 cars i know without breaking the paint.
  12. cannot remember the name but the official distributor for xforce is in nunawading for the twin loop muffler and the guy can chop weld and fit for you there. also they should have simota if you want that as the intake. for the jap brand intakes probably hard to find any in stock around melb you may need to go online.
  13. real carbon is fine but over the weekend someone said to me that the carbon printing process is fine for interior but for exterior after a year or so it may change. i have now found another process and will go with it since it will not change over time. they call it spraying sand and the engine cover will come back with a texture like medium grit sand paper. the spraying sand is cheaper than $130 which is good afterall it is just an engine cover. it turns out though other places i checked on the weekend wanted $200 to carbon print the engine cover.
  14. yes they break not sure why but everytime the head of the clip breaks off. i do not think you really need them anyway since the 2 bolts at the front secure the engine cover. i am running no engine cover and like it. i would keep no engine cover but i have already sent my engine cover away and it would seem a waste to get it back with nothing done to it. made by c-one only 2zz 1800cc and 1zz 1500cc at $300+ i think is a lot of money to dress up the engine. i can imagine most of the people here would save that for an intake system. i already got a few c-one parts in the engine bay so i did think about the c-one engine cover but it is only for 1500cc.
  15. looking at the design too you will see the apex draws air all around and down the center but k&n has the top blocked off.
  16. i have found a place that can turn my engine cover into a type of carbon pattern on top for $130. this is not real carbon but the process is wrapping the original abs plastic with carbon pattern film. anything can be wrapped and made to look like carbon from b-pillars to center console. would you get your engine cover done for $130? i am thinking it is a bit much for something that is not seen and has no function. but then every modification is fun to do. is $130 too much?
  17. i remember in 2003 people found the original filter was too long and so they would replace it with k&n. but then if i remember correctly some members squeezed the original in place. if i was going to use the cai i probably would use apex with it too as i like the idea of dry over an oiled k&n.
