kanjo sorry to hear about your bad luck. sounds like the replacement turret comes from japan. shop around and you might find out that turrets from other cars will also work. do you know that the flat boot carpet which covers the spare wheel is $900?

yes they are. on the back of meguiars there is no material. i think the other brands like snap-on tools and axs have material which covers the back of the seat.

a friend is thinking of face lifting his sportivo. he needs to change the bonnet, head lamps, tail lamps, front bar, wheel guards and side skirts. if this happens i will get pictures. i guess most members do not like the new face lift. but face lifting the sportivo is an expensive option for those who want the new shape.

danz i will have d2 coilovers next week. 36 damper settings and camber adjustable front. i decided to get this because short travel konis and lowered springs were going to be at least $1,200 a set.

danz you can get custom springs from k-mac in sydney for $165 a pair. rather than troubling yourself to copy the sportivo you can do your own thing with the levin. k-mac already has levin on record.

you can get snap-on tools from mechanics. just go to any mechanic and ask if they see the snap-on tools sales rep. last time i checked black was $60 each and red was $70 each. sometimes it is hard to get red because it sells out fast. for more colours try online performance. $45 each or $80 for a pair (in sydney). also for more colours try axs. you can get this from autobarn. meguiars has black and their logo is embroidered. $30 each (in sydney).

have you tried meguiars scratch x? i have used this to remove light scratches from my bonnet.

i contacted mark a week ago. his best price was $350 per piece for a lot of 10. i told him his price was not competitive. good to see that he can now do $280.

sportivo is 1" lower than ascent.
