Hi guys and gals my name is gengiz im from sydney out west and im the proud owner of a 2005 sportivo ,used to own a fto that i spent alot of money on and ended up regreting it so im staying stock standard this time .Like most guys i love speed but prefer coke and thats why i ride a supersport honda i dont understand why people will spend thousands of dollars to go fast on 4 wheels when you can do it on the edge on 2 for heaps less and the babes love it too.Im into track days on my bike and fishing alot but im down 4 any meets in sydney or whatever so dont hesitate to contact me and oh yeh if any of you need mechanical or panelbeater advice let me know i got close friends in the bizz ,hook you up if you strapped for cash.All my pics are im ny album

sorry to say but you paid abit too much i bought the 2005 model stock standard with 5000kms only extras were subwoofer and amp and all speakers were replaced with new pioneers and it cost me $25250 it was for $27500 ansd i paid in cash so he reduced it to that and thats what my year model go for no more than 26k dealers advertise them for 27-28 but noone pays that.also i bought it off a guy who worked for toyota and it was 8 months old or so when i got it

i rekon silver looks so thukin hot mines black but i seriously think silver suits it more

when they tell you they have paint protection done all it is simply just polished or buffed thats what they do and take 300 or 400 bucks off silly fools who pay for it and when a car is sprayed it always will get buffed in the area repaired if your real lucky the whole car

the MPS3 is like the Corolla Sportivo, actually costs about the same as the standard Mazda 3/Corolla. I paid $1200 for the Stivo, now $1400 for the MPS3. With the WRX and EVO i can assure you for me at least it will be closer to $3000. Don't know why, maybe bcus of their cult status and theft history (especially WRX). actually its 2000 for wrx my mate owns a 2003 and hes got a shocking record but the excess is 2000 alsoat the end of the day if you like the car buy it and zeerolla did so hes gotta like it now but ohnestly man i dont see many of them selling at that price 42k on road i think you said, thats wat a wrx cost almost id rather spend another few grand get better performance better looks and awd dodgey interior but the mps aint much better but i rekon they will drop the price a few grand to 36k soon like they did with the heap of **** tiburons

the Civic Type R is quick no doubt bcus its light. if it comes to Oz it will be priced at $40k and at that price there are so many cars to choose from. The Renault and VW would be a nightmare for me if i ever bought one, fom what i heard too expensive to maintain. I don't think the Mazda 3 MPS is all that expensive, bcus if you ask me the Mazda 3 wasn't cheap to start with anyway. If you break it down its only abt $10k more than a SP23, actually i got mine for $42k wthout extras, an SP23 06' model will be arnd $32k and lux pack will be arnd $35k. But what you get in the MPS is worth every penny of that $10k. Just like buying the WRX Imprezza over the NA Imprezzas. yeh u got a point there

i went into a link yesterday which showed the civic type r verse focus rs in the uk and the civic deadset flies it beat the wrx by 6 seconds or so around the track then i went into hondas site and it said the type r with the six speed box does 0-100 in under 6 secs and thats with the 147kw motor why cant we get na hatches here that have so much potential.another site quoted 6.2 as the time for 0-62 mph thats still fast ,and by the way i think the new mps 3 is awesome car but too dear i rekon for its looks and interior they should have made it more agressive coz it looks like my sister in laws mazda 3 maxx sports for that much money id rather the megane cup chassis or gti golf leather trim awesome motors and style to match

i rekon sportivo would just beat a xr6 my bro owns a commodore vx s supercharged and my old car gpx fto cai exhaust used to get 4 cars on it by 3rd and my new car sportivo is just abit slower then my fto

2005 may 13000kms atm but ride a bike also thatas why its so low

if you think thats bad have a look in motorbikes over 2000 in the trading post you will see some shocker like eg holden cbr400 etc

i thought the xrs had less power then an australian version (sportivo) and why did he only use 5 gears

i bought mine in feb 06 with 5000kms on it and now its got 13000kms so i hope its okay for atleast another 100k or so coz im keen on keeping it til 2011.my mum drives a renault and a camry which shes had since 88 brand new ultima cost her 30000 and i swear the camry hasnt missed a beat with 170k on the clock the renault has already stuffed up and its a 2004 which cost her 42k it got 7500kms on it.Toyotas last

I used to be a beater and spraypainter and by my own personal experience i know that its very hard to match a colour off a colour chart index which all panel shops use and to get it perfect and new paint will always look different in sunlight coz the original paint tend to get dull or fade with wear and when a repair is made that area is usually buffed with compound to get out imperfections so it looks glossy compared to other bits

ok my sportivo is higher on the right side when parked in my driveway coz the ground slopes from left to right ,all sportivos have a stabiliser that keeps the rear flat and even so when your car leans it looks like one side is higher but when i park on a completely flat surface is looks normal and it only looks like its uneven at the rear coz the front doesnt have a sway bar
