  1. I say fark'em ...... warrenty is good for nothing anyway considering how easy it is to classify something as a characteristic ...... it was toyota's attitude and lack of customer service which led me to mod the car to the extent that i have because now i know the exact quality of the build thats gone into my car ..... toyota quality .... pffffffft what quality ....... +1 here are some pics of my "other" 2zz-ge

  5. The Cuscos Zero 2 and Tein Wagons cannot be compared. Teins flex are awesome, superstreet is ok (howevever id still go D2s since superstreets dont have a lower adjustment and are twin tube (note monotube is better)). Unfortunantly they dont make Flex and Superstreet for the ZZE12X corolla (they do have superstreet for the US model but not sure if it fits). Cuscos Zero 2 are superior to Tein Wagons and superstreets; however are on par with Tein flex. Given whats avaialble for the Rolla Id i'd buy steet coilovers in the following order: Cusco Zero 2 --> D2 Street --> Cusco Zero 1 ---> Tein GT Wagon --> Tein Super Wagon Some1 else on here had DMS coilovers, they don't allow too much of a drop (i think 50mm) but they are an awesome coilover but pricy (think 3000 dollars or so). Make sure you comparing the products correctly cuz they make variations of every brand. There are also other coilover you can get for the rolla, but i only know specifics of the above. Cusco Zero 2 --> D2 Street --> Cusco Zero 1 ---> Tein GT Wagon --> Tein Super Wagon which one is the most comfortable and the best handling to drive? TRD you cant have both...the best handling wont be the most comfortable..
  6. no they dont, they would have 100's of pages of legal docs that say they can deny warranty on pretty much anything they please and unless you have deep pockets to fight it you loose.
  7. so they guy selling the parts to you says its ok...mabey you should ask the warrranty people.
  8. you have modified your car and thats all toyota needs to knock back your warranty...and lets face it what are you gonna do? I blew up my engine and had to buy a new one from toyota. I also had to wait for the national warranty claims manager to look over my car. It was the dealer (who would get paid to do the work) who initialy said bring it in and it should be a warranty job, the national warranty claims manager took one look and said nope....
  9. Was a very forgettable game for both sides and i think the ref was passed out for most of it...was a shame to see the seris decided in a game like this.
  10. i would be getting the word of sombody at toyota who is able to make the call..not just the local guy at the dealer trying to get yourr business....
  11. you cant really use that thread as a guide..sounds like the guy isn't very happy with his setup...micky's numbers would be more accurate
  12. yep that was me... BIG thanks for Mish and all the Guys that attened. Appart from the weather not being the best it was a great weekend. Myself and ther other QLD guys had a great time and cant wait for the next one.

  15. OR Its been approved buy the Admin/mods of the site. Take it easy mate this guy is allowed to be here. x2
  16. wat im asking is... if both cars are modified to a extent ie motor rebuild, suspension braces lsd... but retain the interior and be street legal. would performance be similar for the track.... i dun want to compare rolla to the itr stock for stock... NO, the ITR is a 2 door sports car, the corolla is a Family Hatch, with the same level of modification one is still a sports car and the other is still a family hatch.
  17. You do know that Yamaha designed the whole head of the 2zz and everyone i have spoken to has said they have never seen a stock head with a better design...also i do belive that stock for stock the 2zz has more power per L too.... and more torque wrong! the 2zz n b18c both have equal power outputs at 141kw @ the fly however the b18c has a tiny bit more torque @ around about 190 Nm i think... brian is that right mang?? whereas the 2zz has 180Nm of torque moreover, honda's vtec not only starts earlier but ends later too, so more of that high cam action yO i think you will find the b18c is 134 ft·lbf (181nm) where the 2zz-ge is 138 ft·lbf (187nm)
  18. that's going to be cleaning time for me :( I'll need all morning to clean all the road kill etc off the front of my car unless I ride up Northy's a55 all the way.... After all bugs seem to love black cars more than silver ones..... the QLD guys decided that i would go in front and take all the bugs/birds/wildlife/people on the wrong side of the road so that their cars would be cleaner then mine when we got there... <_<

  20. when the pulled my box appart, they rang me and said 6 week wait for parts from japan....
  21. Guys the car is fine, just little prob with the fuel system so the car wouldn't start. So its off to be fixed and will be all better for the weekend
  22. with the amount of power your cars putting out the advantages of the LSD would be small, you would be better off with the unichip
