  1. Toyota, i bought a brand new crate motor
  2. Jaycar... http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=NA1004 ***** Smith, Supercheap, autobarn, Repco etc should all have somthing similar as well.
  3. looks very similar to the injen as well, but there is only so many ways that you can make a SRI. Just looking at the pic the MAF sensor is very close to the intake manifold and there is also no straight section of pipe, wonder how this would be effecting the car....
  4. the yellow adjustable koni sports did me well when i still had the 1zz, that was a 65mm drop, did track day, alot of mountain runs and they were a very nice combo.
  5. just get a spray can of contact cleaner and use that, i have cleaned mine few times now with it and it works a treat, and you cant use too much of the stuff either, just soak it and wait till it dries
  6. Apparently Micky_tee offered you a 2zz motor for $2000 and it only had 18,000k's on it, but you declined it. i have herd this from few people, but i dont recall ever talking to him about it.....
  7. $4000 is way too cheap and if the wreckers let that 2zz got for $2500 they should be shot, when i was looking for one best i could get $4000 with 60,000km on the clock and that was for engine only...also you would need to modify things like the suspension also?? what about the brakes? 2zz on stock echo brakes = suicide.....
  8. Why would this thread be moved??? mabey cause its not in the wheels and tyres section.....oh wait it is now <_<
  9. the 1zz dosent have the sensor in the same position, so the plugs might be diff so you may have to make somthing up loom/plug wise
  10. mate dont worry, bruce has delt with alot of people on the forums and we always see the goods, so just sit tight
  11. just a quick note on the CES intake that you are refering to without even seeing the product, the rubber bend is bout 4mm think so its not going to slpit, so you might want to keep posts factual in the future :P
  12. what engine coolant temp was logged on the stock ECU'd car in the two runs? Was it even recorded with an obd2 scanner? was it the same filter? was the Ecu reset before each run? I'll tell you all what I'm prepared to offer.... If someone has a sportivo, and can supply a TRD intake and CES intake and any other intake you like, I will personally pay to have them dyno tested on an independant dyno at Crossley Street and Race engineering on their current dyno dynamics machine in shootout mode in a proper controlled environment. eg, same filter, same engine temp via scan tool, same intake temp, ecu reset before each run, same fuel used, same mufflers used, EVERYTHING controlled. Coolant temp alone makes at least a 4kw difference with the stock ECU. i think that's a good idea. sounds like a fair deal. anyone up for it? i dunno shao not sure if theyd be up for it, all they seem to do is talk... mate put simply...your a *****.....find me a CES customer that has not been happy with their products....cause so far there have been none....we dont need to get on here to show off our cars cause we have compensation issues, we do it to give the rest of the rolla guys the info that we get asked for time and time again, the QLD guys could have kept this quiet and said zip, BUT we didn't we posted up the info on the best exhaust made for our cars and im sure there are few members who have done the research and will tell you this is the case, whether or not you choose to buy or not is up to you, getting on here and talking **** about things you know nothing about only goes to show how little you really know.... and as said all along, take it or leave it, its no skin off my nose if you buy the stuff or not...
  13. back to back dyno's, same dyno, same time, same settings
  14. Even google knows there are cheaper alternatives out there that provide the same "Noise" and gains sorry mate, but in injen is too small for the 2zz and the CES CAI made 4-5kw more peak power then the TRD so looks like google is not as good as it seems...
  15. cant talk about CES on the forums, all the tyre kickers get the ****s and cry to there mothers.
  16. sorry to hear mate, im looking for some face lift parts if you are interested....
  17. you will prolly just get a low oil level warning light on the cluster appart from that it prolly wont "hurt"
  18. mate you try fit a 120gk aussie in one of those seats, then you will know what it feels like to sit in a vice :P
  19. its not the oil cooler, its a sensor, id be guessing its got somthing to do with oil level.
  20. packaged has just shown up and is pretty knocked around and some of the weather sheilds are busted, so if all those who sent me money please send me a PM and ill be crediting the funds back into your accounts.
  21. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showuser=148 thats the old ***** there :P:P
  22. this was taken moments before bill ran the magic time, so it looks like a 14 sec rolla is really enough to scare the **** out of a grown man...
