stolen from toyota nation... the ticking could just be normal valve noise. The valves use solid lifters that arent adjustable except by swapping shims and a certain amount of noise is ok. If the ticking is fairly low and never changes in pitch or volume, there is a good chance that this is what it is, and it is nothing to worry about.

Hey dude... Your looking at at least a 20% increase in power at the motor quite a big power jump and trying to keep it n/a.... Best bet try find a scion xb trd supercharger and bolt it on...... Will get you your power... Just....

hooked up my second comressor to my rukus yesterday... just wanted to make suer everything was ok before i rip it out after summer so i can sell up..... still have a few little things to do before i sell it.... so anyone else got a few mods they want to acheive before summer?

yeah they will definitly fit and how "weak" they fit refers to the offset... a 0 offset has the hub part of the wheel in the centre of the wheel... + 40 offset is 40mm past the centre of the wheel -12 offset is 12mm further in the wheel generaly speaking the higher the number the more the wheels will tuck into the guards.. lower will get the wheels sticking out for that poked look...

Depends on the offset of the wheel.... But being 18x8 I would assume they are off the shelf wheels and will run around the +40 mark so you will be fine

I've ran 19x10 +32 with a little poke...

Off set and width go hand in hand... Need to know sizes before offset... Anyway a little poke never killed anyone

Then it will be really unique...

You should totally do it Sonia.... I have a pic ok one already done and it's the same colour as your toyota rukus halo.. But after you do it you should get those stick on badges of the wings that they at autobahn... They would so go together then you can have wings and be completely different... You should do it Sonia...
