In the GTfour I managed to get 8L per 100km when I first got it. Then my foot started getting heavier and heavier.. now I get about 11-12L per 100km most tanks.. I can still get 9L if I drive like a cop is behind me. After adding the HKS PFC FCON.. fuel consumption got worse.. but I dont really mind.. its so much fun to drive, its worth the extra $$ for petrol.. As I live in the country, Im cruising at 110 most of the time between work and home.

you take your chances with anything made in china, they are getting better tho.. its only a simple metal design, so maybe it's ok. If the material quality is good that is.. just my 2 cents.

Dealer Direct Parts from the USA.. saved me almost $500 on 3 items that would normally have to come from Japan because they are not available in Australia. I've got a 92 Hilux with the slug 2.8d still in it.. after seeing all the work you went thru with yours, mine will be staying with the slug motor! Very impressive.

That won't work because you use more fuel going faster lol sssh cops don't know that xPP ! or do they ... O_O I used that excuse!!! I lived at the top of a hill and the servo was at the bottom... I was right on empty and just gave it a big squirt at the top of the hill. I wasnt over by much, maybe 110. showed him the gauge and off he went. My very first car, RA23 Twin Webers.. I was only in high school so the gauge was always near empty. lol.

Unfortunately the mechanical trade attracts some real low life, scum bag, lazy, rip off merchants... I went for a pink slip in my hilux and was told the front wheel bearings, of which there were two on each side were stuffed.. ok.. I agreed for them to replace them, I like doing my own work, but at the time was living in the city and didnt have access to tools etc. So they charged me for replacing both front wheels bearings.. After I got it back I asked for the used bearings, only one wheels set of bearings was given to me.. the guy told me the other side was thrown out already to recycling...uh huh.... next years rego comes along.. sloppy bearings. WHAT!... They only changed one wheels bearings and tightened the other side, but charged me for both! So I payed twice for the same wheel. Jobsons Discount Tyre and Mechanical Taren Point Sydney were the culprits.. be warned. I only trust my mate who Ive known 18yrs to work on my cars now if I cant do the job myself.... You take a risk everytime you put your car in someone else's hands.. and I got done again with my GT4 over the clutch when I broke down 800kms from home. ahhh motoring.

yes sir.. my camry door was never the same after a certain female passenger slammed the door too many times. "Its not a freakin russian truck or clapped out XC falcon/Kingswood for gods sake!" +1 my passenger door has been slammed so much that it makes a differnt clunk the other 3 doors... +2

Can we add door slammers to this complaint list? Hearing my door being closed like a castle gate makes me soooo mad! Poor hinges and latches. lol Slow deep breaths when drunks are in your car is a good way to keep level headed... and stop regretting you have the best car of all your friends to go out in. :)

Girls a defiantly worse for this too, because it's just a car to them they really couldn’t seem to care too much... ever seen a girls car that is clean?? HELL YES!.. this statement sums up my ex perfectly. she has even used the words "just a car" Her car is such a mess, its full of empty wrappers, rotten fruit, water bottles, clothes and on and on! She got in my car and was munching down some crap and getting crumbs everywhere! Im like OI! stop making so much freaking mess, just cause you dont show any respect for YOUR car doesnt mean you can treat mine that way. :) Everytiime Im enlisted to change the oil in her car its a ten minute job to clean out the rest of the crap in her car, 5 shopping bags of garbage later and its clean. lol

No kill switches in my old one, had one of those red keys for the battery in the boot to cut power. Mine ended up at the tip after being smashed up by a female I let drive the car.. very sad day. I let too many parts go to the tip.. I could bash my head against a wall whenever I think about it. Yeah right. What year was that? Mine had work done on the internals before I bought it but I have no idea what. Sounded awesome with the Webbers, my neighbours loved me ;) Indeed! Mine was a 76 as well, definitely had some get up and go. And loud! Yours didn't happen to have 2 kill switches under the drivers seat? It was orange when I got mine (a bit patchy), dude who I sold it to painted it dark blue. Then who knows. Was an ACT car then NSW.
