  1. Mine need replacing too, I checked good ol ebay and they are not listed, Im betting if I check with Toyota they will want heaps of $ for them.
  2. Thanks for taking the time to reply Trent.. The filings did cross my mind, I was thinking if any did end up in the line, they would find their way to the filter. I'll will give the vice grips I try first...
  3. I'm putting in a new fuel pump on the celica, undoing the connector between the tanks line and the tubing to the front end is a no go.. it's so tight it wont budge.. and sure enough the spanner just rounded the nut. My question is this... if I cut the steel line to get it out and the insert a small section of fuel line to connect it again with clamps, will it hold the pressure without leaking? I realise the line is under pressure, but is it enough to burst a couple of mm's joined with fuel hose? photo bucket not working. Thanks guys.
  4. WOW.. that was exciting.. each to their own eh. We all worship the great Toyota which brings us together, we might not agree on everything or anything the next man says, but we at least have the Toyota badge that we all agree is a good thing.. Oh what a feeling!
  5. What about Robotech ?? that was my favorite show of all time when I was kid.. great story line and the Robots were super cool. :D I'd love to find that stuff and watch it again..
  6. hahaha.. when petrol runs out.. we can Fred Flintstone it!
  7. Real discoveries, real advancements are made in labs, by educated but outside-the-box thinkers, and are published in respected scientific journals and media releases, not by Joe Bloggs in his backyard (and especially not from something that was probably made from plans on the internet) and posted on YouTube. !! Now that's just plain nasty :D.. I'll bet there are hundreds of devices we use everyday made by Joe Bloggs in his backyard.. All credit cannot go to the "scientific community"and "highly educated" douche bags with their sense of superiority for every breakthrough since man invented the wheel...
  8. And if you believe the claims in the Youtube clip (I haven't had a chance to watch it fully, but it looks like every other free energy pseudoscience), then you're a muppet. Please watch the video before you make judgement.. I see youre from the school of thought that "if my education system told me something isnt possible then it isnt, and your an idiot if you think otherwise" there would be no innovation in the world or new products if everyone followed that dogma.. remember.. the earth isnt flat and it isnt the centre of the universe... and did we not recently find out that the speed of light is not the fastest? Our scientific "FACTS" are being challenged all the time. I guess you think Tesla was a crackpot too...
  9. Got my timing belt, water pump, and all the associated seals and bearings done.. phew.. no need to worry about exploding engine from 20yr old timing belt. And if youre are going to hit an animal... do it in a Hilux with a bullbar like mine! kangaroo 0 - Hilux 1, or Hyundai excel 0 - Hilux 1,
  10. Oi.. stop laughing at yet another Celica owner looking to cruise with other Celicas.. :D celica car club brisbane, join us.... or die!!! lol
  11. Hello Ladies and Gentlemans.. I worked for International Freight Forwarding Companies for 10 years.. I have an Advanced Certificate in Customs, a pre-cursor to becoming a Customs Broker, I was also Australian Quarantine Accredited. I've been out of the business for a few years now, but after 10 years in the field I still know my stuff. If you are importing car parts or anything else for that matter, I'd be more than happy to give some free advice on what documents you need and what taxes are payable if the value of goods plus freight is more than $1000 Aud. I can also help with any Quarantine issues you might face when importing car parts or other stuff.. ie. if importing tyres, new or used, a Mosquito Larvae Declaration is required from the supplier to help them breeze through Customs and Quarantine as quickly as possible. Otherwise they will be held by Australian Quarantine pending inspection to verify no wrigglers are sitting in the tyres. This will cost you an inspection fee and lost time. Cheers Dan
  12. Welcome! what a great car... cant wait to see the pics mate.
  13. Its my son and dads birthday.. so I'm out again.. :(
  14. It never went into production because a proper production model was never produced, the prototype never demonstrably ran under load, and had major technical issues/downfalls. Also, BHP poured money into the engine long before it ever got close to being a production model - initial invention and investment was in the early '70s, the technology failed to deliver and by the 90's BHP had actually DIVESTED themselves - ie they got OUT of the investment. They didn't buy the patent and squash it, they wiped their hands of it, because they knew there was no money in it. So many conspiracy theorists/paranoid people out there that think every failed invention has been squashed by either "the man" or "big oil". Excuse me? Are you saying "big oil" would not quash anything that infringed on their massive profits? I'm sorry man... youre living in fairy tale land if you think they wouldnt.. Every business no matter what line of product, will try and outdo the competition.. Big Oil is no different.. in fact they are much, much worse. There is a way to run a car on Hydrogen, converted from Water. Check out this Youtube Video before you say BS.. watch ALL of it. http://www.youtube.c...77AB90EB0750C0C
  15. Amazing...I never knew this, that seals it, if you want to win a war, forget the Hummers, break out the Landcruisers..
  16. Wow... those are some armed terrorists I wouldnt mind being frisked and strip searched by! :D Thanks for the new wallpaper. lol
  17. Now thats a troopy! good find... Paint job still in good nick too... maybe some mags would set it off too battle with a little more class.
  18. Traffic getting you down? Cant find a parking space? Do you need to overthrow your countries leader? Look no further than a Hilux or Landcruiser! The perfect weapons platform for getting your way in style AND reliability.. Nothing says "get out of my way!" on the road like a Hillux or Landcruiser with a 50 caliber machine gun or rocket launcher attached! Toyota... the choice of armed crazies the world over... Im pretty sure that first dualcab is a Hilux.. correct me if I'm wrong, if it isnt a Hilux, it would be a first, most dualcabs with honking great guns on the back that Ive seen are. And boy does the suspension handle the recoil well! A good advert for toyota suspension. PEACE dudes... cause war aint good for anyone. :(
  19. last one... for now. :P

  21. Your pics of the day crack me up Jeffy... keep em coming.
  22. They aren't the newest Toyotas' available... but they are 90's classics, mine and I love them! High and low, black and white, gutless and powerfull.. :D Still cant post pics properly.. I'm useless, even after reading up about it... if anyone can help an idiot like me understand how too, I'd appreciate it.
  23. A scathing review from the gorgz! :D One of the members here has a pink celica that has almost identical wheels to these.. they dont look bad at all IMO..
