  1. LOL! The opposite of this; Note: Car used to be horny. back to the topic, saw GReddy_ES today. :D Dude!! is that a RM Williams sticker?? (Banjo playing'deliverence') Its just lost it JDM feel now lol
  2. Ahh so you're the one with the transformer sticker on the rear bumper... I see you all the time lol.. Spotted and waved to Legend888 on Leach Highway. LOL!... Dont know if you saw me wave. My tint is fairly dark. You just live down from my strip..
  3. The battery would be first on the list Engine wise i personally would rip evrything apart & start from scratch, depending how long its been sitting & ide pour engine flush in there & just add a litre of oil for a top up,change the fuel filter & do an overall check of all electrics..then u can proceed turning of key .(remember do not press the accel pedal as the fuel injection system has to prime & work on its own).the first burn should last a minute of so & then check oil levels & do a change of plugs ,oil & all things necessary..also the brake fluid may require replacing at first(this fluid has a shelf life & being static it loses all its original properties & also any contaminants may clog up the pipes joints etc this will indicate if a caliper service is needed (worst case) Good luck
  4. ive done a couple of stints of Hillclimbs & speed events & have been coorsed to the odd drag I personally think track days require alot more training & driver awareness & this it itself makes you a better driver socially as it prepares you for any conditions. Expenses really come down to how serious you take your sport, the track day car is pretty much wat our members are setting their cars to by changing suspension setups, electronic tuning, intake upgrades but the drag setup is pretty much the same but emphasis on handling is secondary & power seems to be the main drive. On a dash(drag) u can blow transmissions, the odd driveshaft all sorts but a track day the wear is gradual & not as extensive (other than crashing) then youre rooted!drags waste tyres on a track day u learn to preserve them The saying'Anybody can drive in straight line but it takes talent & awareness to follow through a corner fast' Track days are of refined gentlemens sport ,there is a sense of organisation on the day, everybody looks at technique & driving prowess & the odd burn out isnt jeered at but disapproved because your wasting everybodies track time? i would recommend all members do a track day in way or another
  5. Ive two spray painters ide recommend both in the Armadale area -Colour code automotive (Jamie) (08) 495 4888 or a very good back yardie also named Jamie (0417 975 405) recommended by Craig Chambers, if u require a closer guy give us a buzz eh?

  9. I'm feeln pretty confident this year lads..i gunning for the ever elusive 'immortal tag' on my avatar now Go ALONSO! The buzz is ultimately between the McLarens & Ferrari's (surprise surprise)more about the Mclaren wing & how this might be the design to give Hamilton back to back championships. Good luck for Mark Webber this year..hope he gets more points this year!
  10. Just make sure the cogs are level before the whacking to eliminate cross threading..but spray the poo out of it, make the adjustments & give it a lil wipe n scrub to cleanup from any foreign particles this assures you can see the quality of work uv done & as a reference to next time ur under there making adjustments. Good luck
  11. Having done alot of track days good rubber would be the first thing to do,the size (16's) are the right size for track days,Adrenalines are the top o the wozza's short from u buying semi slicks ,they would be ideal, weve had Subi's & Evo's run with adrenalines & the drving feel is much better than some of the brands we used (block patterned tyres) even tho we were sponsored by Toyos & we used the T1r's A cat back would be sufficient but a full exhaust including headers would be advantagous as the pickup would be the differnce in hitting lift or reaching the required rev range t suit the track. as this is out of experience with our cars please take this as a humble opinion as some of the cars i tune are semi modified for Hillclimbs so custom suspension & ecu tuning is included Good luck on ur times
  12. HHooweee!! We have a Winner.. Those are beautiful shots bruv & Thats a really nice put togetherd rolla..Should be proud of urself

  14. hey, no problems on my end but maybe i might have to install a suppressor or somekind either to the radio or battery? Hids shouldn't atall interfere with your system but a suppressor wouldnt hurt
  15. Has anybody spotted the black prefacelift wif dark rolling gear,Milo tin exhaust wif Cypher stickers on the side behind the front wheel arches? Sunday on High road Riverton area..i see this dude on a regular basis..He wouldnt be that misinformed he's botta be a member right?
  16. Hey.. I use Dons Quality Car care behind Prosser Toyota on Bannister,I workd so breifly with Prossers but have always tyrusted Don huinter 7 his staff to do the right thing & still not be overcharged like the dealership i was working for. Its a family run shoppe with family values,He's also very very honest on repairs other than the scaremongering of other workshops Try him out ..i ve been wiv em for at least 10 years..thats in it self is a good record Mo Does he do any type of cars? ie, imports Most mechanics i know prefer not to touch them but he workd on one of the first b4 subies & some of my mates 86's,Im pretty sure he wouldnt mind..all we gotta do is ask?

  19. Merry Christmas to 'all' the members & Toyota enthausiasts My best wishes & health extends to all the families & have a safe break & drive safe a special thanks to the WA fratenity for this years great 'get to togethers' & i hope to meet you all next year (Insyallah) Mo 'Bozurolla' D
  20. Was beens goinz on here!? Scandalistic photos, indecent proposals... uuum..continue!
  21. Thats a shocker, first Honda pull out of F1 & now this... I'm pretty sure the Japanese won't pull out of 'all' the motorsports platforms just its shame they pullout of the top shelf racing catergories of WRC & F1. Apparently Subaru was going to pull out because of the proposed FIA changes (to cut costs) to the S2000 (NA)& S2000 plus (bolt on turbo) catergory being FR the 4wd giant no longer wanted to compete. As long as I get my SuperGT/Better motor int/Option magazine fix i think i'll be ok.
  22. Moments of Lust (makoto remix) Dj Marky & friends of the Iphone..2 hours sleep,Double shot 'Wild bean' flat white wif butterscotch & my first (of many) 355ml Red bull...Its working peeple!!!
  23. Hahahhaha I think the Oz Top Gear team is under the illusion SBS had the unlimited BBC budget,Thats probably why we wont get to see too many top end cars in our side of Top gear ,coz they cant afford to pay for damages whilst filming..Too bad really i have been enjoying the Top gear Oz of late & hope the manufacturers & the SBS honchos dont close the boys from Oz down
