  1. Wow defyant they look really good! Any chance of a tutorial for the tail lights and head lights?
  2. Try ordering dynapad and dynaliner, buying Both to line floor, boot and bonnet with
  3. I've always found it useful for driving quickly down technical ranges, there is a 3km range that I have to drive down to get home from work which is at a 15% decline, pop the S mode into second gear (making your top speed still 100) and you have acceleration on call as opposed to waiting for the gearbox to decide what gear to pick first, sucks the juice though
  4. Side view looks like a carolla sedan *sigh* And so dies the generation of a monolith. On a side note the steering wheel controls look easier to use than a Mazda 3 MPS http://mazda3revolution.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/steeringwheel.jpg Imagine that but with 4 paddle shifters and more buttons haha
  5. So it's been a little while since i updated this but heres whats new... •K&N SRI Typhoon Intake installed •[iNCOMPLETE] Ultra Violet Reactive sleeving of engine bay hoses •Chrome Door Handle covers installed (well stuck on (; ) Yeah i know my engine bay's a little dirty, but it 'aint exactly easy to maintain when you do 400+kms a week

    Actual ft86

So I just got back from Japan three days ago for a snowboarding holiday, and on my travels I happened across the Toyota big air festival at the Sapporo dome in Sapporo, where they were unveiling the new aqua ( a hybrid carolla) and the FT86 - three seperately versions all slightly different, pics will be up when I get home but of the three versions two had alloy wheels, neither have been displayed in the recent write ups in wheels car magazine and it's competitor magazines nor have they been shown on the Subaru BRZ. Two featured a 3.5' exhaust system and two were manual. The colours were red, orange and gun metal gray. In Japan the car goes for 2,500,000¥ approximately 25k in AUD, Toyota wants 40k approx - surely it's cheaper than 15knto import :s
  8. Loving the blue!!!!!! Looks dope! I've currently got no footwell lighting, and I did blue in the puddles and purple in the rear door pockets, but all the flowlighting cathodes are going to whoever wants them (: all to be replaced with a full 2 million colour led system (;
  9. Well it surely looks and sounds the business me likey
  10. Yeah just installed mine (: the best mod (; Even on a stock exhaust it growls beautifully! On sharp acceleration you get that sucking noise that I love!! Cruising around its got a slight whine but still sleeper, and then you kick the firewall and a roaring cacophony of V6 delishesness enters your ears :D would recommend!!! So easy to install! Just don't forget to plug in the mass air sensor or its bloody hard to start and won't exceed 80kph or 3rd gear
  11. Ooooooohh! I do like number one! :D the tidiest of the lot
  12. Haha okay daryl never mind about the canary wheel lol
  13. Sounds kinda odd but I wouldn't mind the entire contents of the boot; spare tyre, trims, tools and especially the carpet...
  14. I remember a series of YouTube videos on the development of the aurion plus trd variant, it mention a much larger vented front bumper, I would suggest that this would also be a must?
  15. Nice ride man, Good to see another tough atx out there (:
  16. I've got 8k for my low, high and fogs, all were around $80+postage, one set were xentec ( whic I believe is fairly reputable and the other two are brand less but actually seem to be a much higher quality, once installed and adjusted ill leave a review of sorts
  17. Just purchased one (: shouldn't be too far off, going to get a couple of custom aluminium plates and covers made to cover the intake and a few other things. Now just to find a reputable exhaust shop in mackay...
  18. I've found mine a very useful place to store the remote for my subwoofer as the cable runs out through the back
  19. I was reading the laws for qld, which seem to parallel vic, it has been upped to 205kw to allow for the new commodore and the ecoboost falcon, So yeah as long as you can get proof it's less than 205kw after the mods you'll be fine
  20. I'm on my p's with an aurion and I know it is illegal to add power gains that make the car over 205kw (the new legal limit), if installed correctly and you don't have two 6" cannons you should be fine, maybe get the car dynoed before and after the mod to prove its less than 205kw atw?... For me I'm going for a brake and handling package to gain speed and performance
  21. I am most definitely interested! But I would have to see the vent designs first, cf would be virtually undetectable if painted to match... Will it include the rubber seals, and window washers?
  22. Oh you lucky sod! I can't disconnect the map light panel from my roof to remove it, the wires are connected directly as opposed to a plug for some reason, made. Changing the bulbs nearly impossible
  23. Yeah well I want my aurion to be the sort of car that when I turn up to meets it puts people in shock (: Massive power would be good, but the RWD/AWD functionality would be vital, I'm currently trying to contact a hacker under the alias of geohot who is experienced in flashing firmwares to see if it is theoritcally possible to modify the OS of the aur canion ecu to accommodate tuning, thus meaning we really see what the 2GR-FE can produce with upgraded internals, will be keeping the major parts of the build under wraps until I get a break through. Maybe I should just order a 1LR-GUE (; I'm considering sendin the vehicle to a customs company in Brisbane to overhaul the interior in cream leather and then repaint the whole car while it's stripped of everything
