  10. [Wollongong] UOW Unicentre carpark. Saw a Black facelift Stivo drive in - SP-##-VO - at ~10 - 10:15 Thursday 27/7/06 I think I saw the same car that night fly through the round-a-bout by the hospital in my rearvision mirror at around 4:30 that afternoon too.
  11. I was taught to always park it in 3rd, and I too was taught to always start the car with the clutch in too.
  12. I think you need some updated engine bay pics Dave ;) I love this car :D
  13. I ALWAYS park in 3rd ;) you shouldn't park in reverse
  14. I ALWAYS park in gear... especially on a hill
  15. I like the sound for 4th gear lift the best... I've not been beyond that though...
  16. Thanks Zee... it's a great place to let out a little frustration too :) I'd also like to add, the last 3 years have been great with this car (other then the clutch issue of course) but with that fixed the car has been a dream, and I look forward to seeing what the next few years bring...
  17. on that... I noticed browsing carsales.com that a guy in Melbourne has his directional tyres on backwards... in essence chanelling the water into the centre of the tyre rather then away from it... check you tyres again ;) the >>>> pattern should be pointing towards the FRONT of the car at the top of the rotation and towards the BACK of the car when in contact with the road. This is the example of what NOT to do... http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/&a...rch_distance=25 some Falkens actually have a very good wet weather reputation.
  18. you obviously haven't been to Wollongong then :P
  19. The Story So Far, Part 5... I then found the paint can :) And it was time to finally fix up the wishy washy steering once and for all... Well, I don't have many pics of this part yet as my camera broke and I've been busy and it's dark when I get home... but I'll get some on the weekend... DONE... a summary is, CUSCO front tower brace, TRD rear sway bar and G4 coilover suspension.... And it ends in this... Which is how she'll stay for a little while now... :)
